"Excellent stay and experience"

I am very particular where I stay. Many times to Las Vegas and always stay at another property at the North end of strip. This was first time staying at the Vdara, but not the last. We were here for a week and have nothing but positive things to say. Rooms are well maintained and appointed. The daily cleaning is excellent; housekeeping should be acknowledged for their efforts and attention to detail. Check in was quick and efficient and front staff show commitment to customer service; specifically Shanelle who went out of her way to accommodate a request. I will definitely be booking my annual trips at the Vdara going forward.

"Better this time, but still needs work."

After a horrible experience last year, I decided to give Vdara a third chance. This is a beautiful hotel that is like a fallen a bit and I wish they cared enough to bring it back to the standard it once was. This time I booked a private suite, maintained by Vdara, but with an outside owner. The suite was wonderful, however, I am seeing the same issues as with previous trips. Did notice some slight water damage in the bathroom, the sink in the powder room was slow to drain. The shower floors are caked with hardwater buildup. The hotel thinks this is OK? I remember my first time and the tiles were clean and brown. When you watch videos of the bathroom from several years ago, you see that the shower floor tiles are indeed brown. The build up is so obvious. Makes you question the rest of the cleaning. The pillows are also hard and bulky. Some people prefer them like this, but I always bring my own. I notice that management gives generic apologies but does nothing to address the issues. They asked me to reach out to them via email. I did. Never heard anything back. It's all for show. Here is the response I got last time: "Your insights are invaluable in helping us uphold our service standards. We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss your review further with you to ensure we address all concerns and make things right. Your satisfaction is our priority." To sum it up, you are given insincere, robotic answers with no follow up. Was told to email them, I never got an answer. They do not want to discuss my review, they ignore guests' concerns and do not want to hear about the experience. Satisfaction is NOT their priority.

Great size room, blackout shades worked very well. Easy walk over to Aria if you're looking for a casino. I was here for a nearby conference and had some trouble with trying to cast my computer to the TV, pretty outdated. The room overall was a little tired, but not terrible. Good enough stay.
