Thousand Hills Resort Hotel in Branson, MO

I hope the owner reads this review: This hotel is fantastic. The room was great. Friendly staff. I loved Wildwood Bar and food from Jack Henry's. I come to Branson often and usually stay at Airbnb but would definitely come back here. I hear the owner also bought St James winery and I wonder who is manager there?? I go there all the time but in past year things have changed and not for the better. Not open for bar or food Mondays and Tuesdays and best people are let go. Maybe it's the managers fault?? Took Dees great desserts off menu earlier this year but brought it back by popular demand. Took some favorites off menu. Can't go outside on beautiful patio because not enough help. Crazy. Wake up and save this place!!

Hotel seriously needs to be updated. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. No daily cleaning. When towels were requested we told to leave the dirty ones outside in the hall. Most of the staff unhelpful. Mattresses are worn out. Toilets are too low and no walk in showers.

This was our first trip to Branson and we were glad to have stayed at this location. It was the perfect location for the many shows we attended. They upgraded our room at no charge and it was great. The breakfast crew is amazing. Each morning their were 100's maybe even a thousand or more joining us and were able to get seated and fed in record time. From the time we got in line to when we finished breakfast we were in and out in 30 to 45 minutes. Definitely a place I will again stay when we return to Branson.

Very dated/worn. Cheap everything. Dirty pool area. Room we stayed in was a double FULL, they said they were out of double queens. They did offer a single king room if we wanted to pay an additional fee for a cot bed for our kids 🤦‍♀️ I did not even know there were hotels with that small of beds. Not a very comfortable stay. Would not recommend.

Just returned from a 3 night stay on a business trip. To me, the staff is what really made this property stand out. Trevor, a true professional, went out of his way to make sure every question or concern I had was addressed. He's the BEST. Check in was a breeze. Entire front desk staff was wonderful whenever a question did arise. Kudos to the sales staff that made sure the meeting went off without a hitch. The guest room was clean. A few small signs of wear, but nothing that was a serious issue. In-room refrigerator was a plus and the personal coffee maker area was fully stocked with coffee, tea bags, cream, etc. The bathroom was immaculate. Plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and I want those pillows! Parking was ample, although I did go around to the lot behind the hotel. It had more spaces open and an entrance in the back made it very convenient. Just up a few steps, enter through the lower level and elevators nearby. Yes, it is an older hotel (Built 1993, I believe) but I found nothing wrong anywhere that would have made me change hotels. I would stay there again if I have reason(s) to visit Branson in the future.
