I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Some of the staff were wonderful, while others were not. The room was great in theory, but there were several missing amenities for a hotel of this caliber. Upon check-in, the staff seemed uninterested in us. They didn't recognize us as Diamond members, nor did they provide directions to the parking garage. However, the Concierge was fantastic, assisting us with our bags and surprising us with a helpful printout on parking and other tips. At check-in, we were also told we could have a maximum of two bottles of water for our entire stay, and the staff wasn't very kind about sharing this policy. The good news: It was my husband's birthday during our stay, and they thoughtfully sent up some treats, which was a nice gesture. We stayed in the Eisenhower Suite. While the room was spacious and had potential, it was not in the best condition. The rug in the living room was crooked, the kitchen floor was sticky, and there was no record player as advertised—just records in the spot where it should have been. We couldn’t use the outlets in the main bathroom because they were behind a mirror, and several lights didn’t work. As others have noted, there were no slippers or additional amenities (like Q-tips or water by the bed) that you'd typically expect from a hotel of this type. I tried messaging the hotel via the Hilton app, but never received a response. We eventually had to go down to the front desk to report the missing record player. They acknowledged it, which I found interesting. On one of the days we had our room serviced, we left a generous tip, but the staff didn't even refill our coffee supplies. All they did was make the bed; they didn’t remove towels from the floor or properly arrange the bed. It seemed like they just pulled up the sheet without tucking it in or fixing the pillows. We loved the location of the hotel, and the suite has great potential. However, the service and room conditions left much to be desired.

What kind of the star hotel does not provide toothpaste?!?! To my detriment, I only realised it after entering the bathroom. I had to call the front desk who had NO STAFF AT 8AM in the morning to send it over!!! So I had to come out of my bath, go down and fetch it myself. Which reminds me, by the way, they provide no room slippers either. And just 2 bottles of water for ENTIRE STAY?! Why even bother with those 2? For a star hotel that’s expected to have all amenities, this hotel sucks. You will have far inexpensive options to stay elsewhere - so please do yourselves a favor and don’t go by the rating here. Perhaps the other hotels in the area are horrible, but then you should be rated based on your absolute service and not as comparative value to accommodations in the nearby radius. Having travelled around enough inside and outside the US, there is NOT a star hotel that’s expected. I regret booking here as a surprise for my husband on our anniversary. Depending on how the next couple of days go, I’ll probably revise this rating down to 1, given the way things are going!

Gorgeous hotel - very impressive! Front Desk Staff were courteous and always helpful. Room was very clean, comfortable, & had all the right amenities! Rooftop bar was great! Servers April, Arika, & Rudy provided great customer service. Hotel Dining Room and Cafe had great food choices, their Servers were attentive, & the food was delicious!! We purchased a package that included lodging, parking, & admission to the WW II Museum - awesome! Short walk to downtown Bourbon Street. Overall - relaxing 3-day stay with awesome food, hotel staff, & activities to keep us busy!

Friendly staff. It's a nice hotel across the street from the WWII museum. The hotel has a channel with information and programs about the WWII museum. It is a black away from art museums and a glass-making workshop that is worth the stop. The hotel is about a mile from the Fench Quarter and within walking distance to highly rated restaurants in the warehouse district.,

Rooms were nice, decor was classic art deco throughout hotel, staff are well trained and attentive. If you plan to go to the WWII museum, this hotel is virtually part of it, and you get a discount on tickets. During 2 weeks we ate multiple times at the Cafe Normandy and had several memorable meals. Breakfast plates were huge, we ended up saving the extras! Kilroy bar was active and actually had its own bar menu that was quite nice and reasonably priced. Despite our having 4 people in two rooms for two weeks, cleaning staff were always attentive and did a great job on the rooms.
