"We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at this luxury hotel."

When we dropped off our bags in the morning before our room was ready, the front desk associate was welcoming and helpful. When we returned, check-in was quick and trouble-free. We had a beautiful and spacious corner room with tall windows, offering great views of the WWII Museum and the downtown area. We appreciated having two comfortable chairs (one very nice upholstered chair, and another chair at the desk). The bathroom was enormous, with a wide sink counter plus mirror, a second counter plus mirror with a hassock, a very roomy shower stall, a separate tub, and a toilet in its own space behind its own door. We really liked this layout. Everything was very clean. Though the hotel seemed busy, our room was very quiet; the only noise came from the streets outside. Climate control worked well, and was essentially silent. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We slept very well. Excellent housekeeping service, no issues. Breakfast at The Cafe Normandie in the hotel was delicious, and our server was very nice. We received our order quickly, which let us get on with our day at the WWII Museum. To save time at lunch, we grabbed ready-to-eat items from the cooler in the Provisions store in the hotel, so we could get back to the museum quickly. We really appreciated having this option. Excellent stay, strongly recommended.

"Bad accessibility"
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5
Reviewed March 16, 2025 NEW
This hotel is very convenient to the Museum. We booked an accessible room that was expensive. The concierge was not available when we asked, the rooftop restaurant was closed for a private party. The accessible room looked good but had too much furniture for the space. The roll in shower had bad drainage and the marble bathroom floor flooded. The patio door did not lock and rattled loudly all night. The shower head was installed too high for use in a chair and the soap and shampoo are installed too high on wall to be used by a sitting person. It is surprising that no one checked on these simple details. Try rolling around bedroom in a chair.

"So convenient if you're visiting the National WWII Museum"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5

In addition to the convenience to a major attraction, this hotel is excellent in its own right. The staff are excellent -- from the front desk to the restaurant staff. Consider splurging for the breakfast. The food is great (and plentiful), the service is attentive, and it really got our day off to a good start!

"Horrible visit. Stay somewhere else."

Stayed here for four nights for a conference. This is by far the worst run Hilton I’ve ever stayed in, especially a Curio property. I’m a gold member and was told I was upgraded to “the very best room.” I didn’t expect that meant a suite or something, but I certainly thought it would be a step up from a standard room. Well, that’s exactly what I got - a very standard room with a horrible view of the parking structure. Maybe the upgrade was being on the 8th floor? Some of the lights in the room didn’t work at all. When I called the front desk for something one night, the phone rang and rang, and no one answered. I actually had to go down there to get what I needed. Good grief. They put two water bottles in the room. When I asked for more, I was told customers get two per trip? Huh? The restaurant on property is terrible - very slow service and the food is awful. Same goes for the rooftop lounge. My friend ordered a salad on that rooftop, and the lettuce wasn’t washed. We also ordered wings that were so slathered in sauce that they were inedible. I would never stay here again and it honestly turned me off to NOLA.

"Outstanding room service"

I had the pleasure of experiencing outstanding room service during my Super Bowl stay at this hotel. The staff member who assisted me, was Glenisha. She was very professional, friendly, and aware. From the moment I placed my order, she ensured everything was delivered promptly and with great care. I will be back in April 2025.
