I'm so sorry. I am not sure how this qualifies as a 4 star hotel. See the attached photos and judge for yourself. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and that's the only positive thing I can say about this place. It is run down and needs an overhaul.

My partner and I needed to book a hotel close to the Pheonix airport due to an early flight I had back to Michigan the next day following my birthday weekend. The staff is dope, friendly in a way that doesn’t come off as too “staff like” if you know what I mean. I don’t know if I’m the only one but I appreciate a relaxed kindness. The price was reasonable, booking the room over the phone was smooth and painless. The gentleman I spoke to was polite and competent. Given the overall experience we had during our short stay I would say that the price we paid for king bed room was more than fair and I would go as far to say quite a good deal compared to the rest of the hotels in the area. We are really glad we stayed here. It seemed like there was a cute little coffee shop/cafe to the right of the lobby but we didn’t go in there. There must have been a separate restaurant somewhere else because I overheard a man go out of his way to compliment the chef as we were checking in. I looked at the menu that was displayed in the elevator and the choices looked appetizing. The staff were extremely polite, warm, and made us feel very welcome. The lobby and all areas leading to our room were exceptionally clean and had a particularly pleasant smell. Our room was also very clean and comfortable. The sheets were very fresh and clean. I do wish there was a microwave in there because we had some leftovers that would have been better heated up but that’s not a big deal. We didn’t have a chance to visit the pool and hot tub downstairs since we were there to sleep and catch a flight but if not for the nature of our stay serving a purpose we would have loved to take a swim and a soak. There were some cool colored lights giving the area a fun vibe, some folks down there having some fun, a section with cabana style lounge beds, and the hot tub was gigantic.

I am three nights into my five night stay. I wanted to love this hotel. It seems like it could have been a fun boutique hotel... in the past. Unfortunately it seems to have fallen on hard times and has sadly not been maintained. I cannot figure out what the "resort" fee is for except perhaps the use of their parking lot but it definitely feels deceptive, The strong odor of cleaning chemicals is everywhere. The complimentary breakfast consisted of instant oatmeal, cheap pastries, and fruit. While I was initially excited about the "select a brew" coffee machine, it unfortunately dispensed mediocre coffee. I thought about switching hotels after the first night but the firm bed and soft pillows allowed for a good night's sleep so I stayed and enjoyed the additional bright aspects of the hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the 1/2 price beers during happy hour and the friendly bartenders, and breakfast at the nearby First Watch.

"Last-minute emergency trip. Decent stay for price."

The pictures on here are extremely misleading! The hotel does not look anything like that! Those pictures should be replaced so you don’t mislead travelers! It looks like it was a gem back in its day, but now it is more reflective of a glorified motel! If somebody came in with 10-20 million and invested in the property. It would be amazing. Having said all that, we really enjoyed our stay! I was there for a last-minute trip after picking up my college boy from the hospital and I booked this quickly on Hotels.com because the distance to the hospital and the price were right. There are a lot of shady areas around there so a motel was not an option. When the Uber pulled up, I was taken a back 😑 not realizing this was an adults, only hotel, and not understanding what that means! The next morning, I was happy to find many of the patrons were just average people on business trips and nothing was shady. The staff was amazing. The room was decent, but very outdated with broken blinds (seven out of 10 for cleanliness but that could be large in part because everything is just so outdated). The pool has potential. It’s a very nice area, but everything is decades old! There was no breakfast offered just fruit and muffins and the restaurant didn’t open until 11! I would still stay at this hotel again because of the people that work there, the fact that I felt safe and the price. I do however think the pictures should reflect what it currently looks like and everybody should have an honest view of what they’re walking into! It is not a four-star hotel, but it is somewhere decent to stay where you will feel safe. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant food was decent.

"Not so great"

"Resort fee" is now $39.40 with tax. This property is pretty run down. The interior rooms have windows which open to the walkway on each floor. The rooms, while large, are spartan. The door to my room was not entirely secure. You can see the pry bar marks from forcing the door open. Don't let the photos fool you. This place is for budget travelers.
