Here’s a structured and professional review based on your experience: --- Review for SureStay Plus by Best Western – Tempe, Arizona My experience at the SureStay Plus by Best Western in Tempe, Arizona, was disappointing and far below expectations. First and foremost, the hot tub was out of order, which was not disclosed at check-in despite my direct inquiry about its location. I later learned that it had been nonfunctional for months. Transparency about amenities is essential, and this was a clear failure in communication. The room quality was below average, and I had to personally request that housekeeping mop the floors, which should be a standard cleaning procedure. Additionally, breakfast was served three hours late on my last day, making it an unreliable option for guests who planned to eat before heading out. Another major issue was the lack of high-speed internet—the staff repeatedly blamed a technician for the problem, but there was no solution provided. In addition, the hotel enforces a very strict cancellation policy, making it difficult for guests to adjust their plans if issues arise. Lastly, the hotel hosts a rehabilitation program for former drug users and ex-prisoners. While such programs serve an important purpose, guests should be informed in advance so they can make an informed decision about their stay. Overall, this property does not uphold the typical Best Western standards, and I would not recommend staying here. If you value transparency, functional amenities, and a properly maintained hotel, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. ⭐ 1/5 – Save your money and book a different hotel.

"Sure DON’T Stay here!"

We booked a suite; the room looked like it was under construction. There were no tables, just a love seat in front of a tv that didn’t work. The cabinet was missing drawers, the floors were dirty, there were cobwebs in the ceiling, the headboard was loose, the blind was too small for the window (no curtains), the bathroom had hooks ripped off the wall, we had to call for towels, and a host of other small annoyances.

We stayed here 2 nights. The room's amenities: On the plus side, lighting was adequate; good pressure in the shower; everything in the room worked. On the negative side, there was no luggage rack and not a single piece of wall art. Spartan and cold-looking. Housekeeping: 1) This hotel has a severe shortage of towels. When we checked in, there was just one set in the room. I called the lobby, and the desk clerk told me he couldn't give me anymore, I'd have to wait until morning. I had to go to the lobby to get them, which I did. Later, I saw that their laundry facility is right on the premises, so this is just poor management. 2) The floor in the unit was dirty. I kept my socks on. 3) I asked the housekeeper to make up our room after the first night's stay. She refused, because we weren't on her list! I demanded 2 sets of clean towels and brought her the wastebasket from our room for her to empty. Breakfast: On the first day, a Sunday, they had everything. Including flavored creamers and a choice or orange, cranberry, or apple juice. Monday was a different story: No flavored creamers. Only apple juice. And a sign was posted that they were out of syrup! The eggs had been microwaved in one giant lump and then crudely chopped up into weird 3-inch chunks. Unappetizing. I don't understand all of the favorable reviews. On our week-long trip in Phoenix and Southern California, this hotel was our most expensive, and in terms of comfort it was by far the worst. I've been a Best Western member for years, but I'm switching to another hotel chain after this experience.

Horrible dirty smelly room for non-smoking room it sure didn't look or smell like it. Blankets had cigarette burns and smelled like smoke. Bed was uncomfortable felt like I was sleeping on springs. Pull out bed was even worse. No bedding for pullout bed. Didn't have enough towels called and never got them brought up.

"Terrible!! Don’t waste your money"

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. This is probably the worst hotel I have stayed at so far. Our room was filthy, we had no towels, and we asked several times for a hair dryer since there was not one in our room when we arrived. House keeping didn’t show up to clean our room once in our 3 day stay and didn’t come even after I asked. We got back to a room that hadn’t been touched and smelt bad due to wet towels from a leaking shower. I saw a list while I was waiting for towels, that housekeeping was turning in at the end of there day and my room number was listed as cleaned… I’d be very cautious since they are marking that they are cleaning the rooms but aren’t actually cleaning them. I mopped the floor with a bathmat after it got wet from the leaking shower and I’m posting pictures of how bad it looked after a small section of the floor. I highly recommend spending more money and staying somewhere else. I don’t think I will ever stay at another Best Western SureStay again.
