"Never again."

Awful experience. Room was ABSOLUTELY smoked in and smelled like an ashtray. The moment we opened the door. As a family we required a double-suite. The only one available for relocation had beat up furniture, a kidding closet door, an ENTIRE missing bedroom door on one of the bedrooms, and NO television in either of the bedrooms! Are you kidding me?! The. Worst.

"RUDE MORNING MANAGER"

I've drove from CA to AZ going to this hotel. I booked a reservation on the day that I arrived using my POINTS and redeem 1 night, i came to the front desk if I could do a early checkin and front desk call her manager she's a lady her name is Marline or Marissa,(IM NOT SURE BUT SHES A MANAGER IN MORNINGS) she was being rude to me once she checked me and noticed that I used my points to redeem a stay, she gave me a look saying I can't do an early check and she would charge me $140 for an early check, I noticed being a platinum member in SONESTA doesnt really give you any benefits. I called the reservations hoping that I can refund my points and she rudely said NO to the travel pass team, I was disappointed on this location and the rude manager. I went to sonesta the one in chandler and they were happily checked me in without any charge for early check in once they knew I am a platinum member. never again on this location.

"Not Clean"

This is not a terrible room in and of itself. But not a clean room. There were stains in the carpet. A register vent that’s filled with fully visible dust and dirty build up. Hairs on the walls of the shower. And a bug in the bathroom sink. Also when we first got to the room, the TV was on and the couch was pulled out into a sleeper bed, which we didn’t need or want. All sketchy. I would not stay here again.

"Scam property will double charge you then avoid you"

This property will double charge you then lie about a manager never being available. I have been pretty patient as it's been a month but they double charged me and still no manager available for refund. I have seen other reviews where they double charged and overcharged and the manager is no where to be found. This hotel is not worth it and the customer service is trash. Last minute booking, wish I did more research.

"Lacks basic security…"

My parents had to go to Tempe for a family emergency and I decided to book them a hotel. They called me at about 11 am about the hotel. Apparently the front desk attendant had given them a room that was already occupied. How would that happen you ask? Well, the attendant reeked of marijuana and was probably too high to be able to use his computer. Anyways, he gives my parents another room and when my parents attempt to take a shower it appears that they have no cold water. My parents have lived in Arizona for well over 20 years so they know how to handle some hot water. They run for several minutes and apparently they never get any cold water. When they complain the front desk attendant says he doesn’t have anyone to fix it until the next day and refuses to give a refund. Security and running water are basics that you should be able to expect in a hotel, but apparently not at Sonesta
