The amount of noise is ridiculous. not the people. staff every single morning blaring weed whackers right outside the windows at 7 am while everyone in the house is sleeping. YOU DONT NEED TO TRIM THE SAME BUSHES DAILY!! In the description it said this place would be quiet!

My family & I rented a 5 bedroom house. The layout of the home was perfect, nice pool area, and comfortable common areas within the house. It there weee a few things that could be improved: -the carpet all over the house was filthy, for a rental frequent cleanings of carpet are a must! -hole in the wall upstairs-please patch/paint -in the upstairs bathroom the shower rod wouldn’t stay up, the shower curtain weren’t wide enough-had to wipe up water every time we used it-we stopped -bug stains on the walls-understandable, we are lodging in an area where insects are prevalent-but a little soap & water works when used -the kitchen was not fully equipped with utensils, had only one wine glass, nor a full set of drinking glasses, dishes, or serving dishes ( just the basics (Marshals, TJ Maxx, Dollar Store) -One of the cabinet doors was off the hinges -Finally the refrigerator stop working the day before we left

Positives: Lovely resort, villa was clean and had a view of the lake. The communal pool area was great, very clean and had a lazy river (it did get overcrowded as the day progressed so would recommend getting there early). When we first arrived however we noticed the surrounding villas were full of large groups of people playing loud music and hosting parties into the night. It was a shame as it was really peaceful but the villas are very close together so you can easily be impacted by your neighbours and the resort does not seem to manage this.

The condo unit we rented was clean and comfortable. The resort itself is a big disappointment. We have been renting here for 5 years and these past few years, every year is getting worse. Last year the line to get into the pool everyday because of overcrowding was annoying. This year to combat that, they now charge$37 fee to use the pool area. We were not told of this when we booked our unit back in August. Also while in the pool area, they now charge to rent the cabanas. In the past, people were able to escape the hot sun and retreat to the free cabanas. Now the cabanas sit unused because they are $50. I paid over $5k to rent my condo and now they are going to nickle & dime me to death with these additional fees. You must also get a new wrist band and show a card upon entering the pool everyday. The parking lot always says its full, even when it isnt. The resort as a whole is too overbuilt to accommodate all the people & cars. Next they'll be charging a nightly parking fee, you wait & see! Its a shame they kept building & building as now its not safe, or enjoyable. (google 'solterra murder" or "solterra shooting" if you dont believe me) Some units allow weekend rentals and for a whole weekend we heard bass music coming from the unit next door...24 hours a day all weekend. We asked them politely the 1st night to turn it down, which they did until about 11pm, then cranked it back up again. Your option is to call the sheriff's non emergency, as the security at the resort doesnt care. Time to look for another place.

Very unaccomidating. Pool restaurant says they stay open until 5pm but closed by 3pm. Can't bring outaide food in since restaurant closed early even though there were 10 people there. Can't move a table. For God's sake don't forget your wrist band that you have to wear all week with no replacement (or pay again), or your parking pass. If you don't have it displayed at all times on the property you will feel like you are going to jail. Touts itself as a gated community but anyone can drive in whenever they want. More worried about rules than providing a good, reasonable experience. Pick a different resort. You'll be happier.
