Get ready (as ready as you can be!) to be launched into the air as you and your partner scream at the top of your lungs. Next thing you know, you’re hurtling back towards the ground to do it all over again. Can you handle the speed and thrill of the Sling Shot Thrill Ride? There’s only one way to find out!

Description

The Slingshot is the most intense and extreme ride in Myrtle Beach. Experience 5 G's at take off! Passengers are propelled over 300 feet at speeds over 120 miles an hour.

Up to two riders at a time lie on their backs and face the sky. Suddenly, they are propelled into the air at a mind-numbing speed, only to plummet back down to Earth and do it all over again! To put that in perspective, at the apex of your launch, you are roughly as high as the observation tower on the Eiffel Tower!

With a little bit of team work, you and your partner can get the circular capsule spinning in the air!

The Sling Shot has a mounted video camera to show on-lookers the experience and reactions of the riders. The videos are available to purchase after the ride.

Located at the corner of 12th Ave. N. and Ocean Blvd. in Myrtle Beach.

Operating schedule subject to change without notice due to inclement weather.

You MUST be 44" at the shoulders to ride.

"Great ride..but beware"

The ride was great BUT beware of them getting your card info and trying to clean out your bank account. I’m not saying it was definitely them who done it but they were one of very few places I pulled my card out for. And 2 days later someone tried to drain my account dry for almost 1500$ but thank God my bank declined and caught most of it but unfortunately they got me for 400$ which is being disputed as I type this. Just be aware there are bad people everywhere even the ones strapping you in to a slingshot ride. Use CASH only when paying for stuff like this that way they have to earn their money instead of stealing it ✌️

Was a lot of fun and flashy cruising up and down the beach ! Billy was very helpful and informative. I would definitely rent again. It felt like taking a fancy go cart for a ride. The feel of being on motorcycle but also being safe!

This was very fun and exhilarating. Would definitely do it again. Was a little pricey, but fun. The ride was very short but you hung in the air for a while. Loved doing it with my mom.

"Heckuva Experience"

This ride will literally bring your heart up to your mouth. You shoot up almost 300 feet in couple seconds almost 120MPH with a g-force of approximately 5. Make sure you remove anything loose like glasses or sandals. The ride will cost $60 per two people for 1st ride. If you desire to go again, it will be 1/2 price. You have the option to have it videoed by them. For $18, it is worth it because most cameras on the ground will not do justice. My wife of 72 rode this with no issues. She seemed to really like the ride. Depending on when you go, expect long lines. We went at 7PM after Labor Day and the Ocean BLVD was empty.

I was here with my kids. They stood in line for a long time to get on. It was a fun time. Definitely something to only do once with the lines, but fun.
