Set along Kaua'i's eastern coastline, Plantation Hale Suites in Kapa'a offers excellent value with spacious suites and great amenities such as three outdoor swimming pools, two whirlpool spas, BBQ grills picnic areas, and beach access.

Although there is no on-site restaurant available, the hotel is near Coconut Plantation Market Place which offers shops and restaurants. It is also nearby Wailua Golf Course, just a short drive away.

Each spacious suite includes a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, and a private terrace or balcony with a pool, mountain, or garden view. Cribs are available on request and rollaway beds are for a nominal fee.

Minimum age to check-in: The reservation holder must be at least 21 years old to check in and is required to show a photo ID and credit card.

Parking: Self-parking is included in the resort fee.

Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed. ADA-defined animals are accepted.

Resort fee: A daily amenity fee of USD 25 plus tax per room will be collected upon arrival. This fee includes usage of hotel services and amenities and in-room amenities.

The Plantation Hale Suites is an excellent choice for those seeking a home-like experience during their Kauai stay. Each suite boasts two TVs, a spacious bedroom, a cozy living room, a well-equipped bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private lanai. The kitchen provided everything we needed for our culinary adventures. Although there were many amenities our unit was dated. Now, this may not be your experience, depending on which unit you get. The grounds are meticulously maintained and beautifully landscaped, offering a serene backdrop for our morning coffee on the lanai. The location of the suites is simply fantastic. Within walking distance, we found shops and restaurants, while a short drive away, we discovered even more options. If you’re looking for a place that combines a kitchen, living room, and bedroom, Plantation Hale Suites is the perfect choice.

The suite had everything you needed as a home away from home. I didn’t use the pool since the ocean is only a block away. We were on the 2nd floor with a balcony with an ocean view. No elevators so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage. If you do need to use the laundry, get the card instead of the app - it’s only $2.50 per load but the app makes you load $10 minimum. At least with the card you can gift it to the staff otherwise you’re stuck with extra money on the app you most likely will not use.

This is not a hotel so not all rooms are as shown in the ad. The room you get may be much worse than advertised like it happened to us. AC was inadequate. Bathroom has a leak and the droplets from upstairs toilet ran down into our bathroom. This was a problem ignored for a while cause we saw a lot of accumulation of brown water in the light fixture.

Super friendly and accommodating! I had a Booking.com reservation nearby that fell through and the folks here were able to get me in right away and for the duration of my stay! Yes it's an older establishment but so well kept and my room was clean. The grounds are beautifully manicured and a little side note here...The pools and hot tubs sparkled! It is noticeably clear that the management and staff take great pride in this place. 10/10 Recommend!

We absolutely love this place, the people are so nice. It has 3 pools and 2 hottubs as well as bbq's. It is an older place but that is why we like it. There are people that complain that it is dated and needs to be remodeled, I totally disagree with them 100%. They are unique and that's why we like it. If you don't like dated places then go stay at the Hilton or Sheraton. We stayed here 2 years ago and just stayed there again. We will be back again in a couple years and will definitely stay there again.
