Pros: 1. Close to the subway. 2. Conveniently located in Midtown in the Theatre District. 3. Tourist area if you're into that. 4. The bellmen are friendly and polite. 5. Mia at the front desk understands hospitality, values brand loyalty, and is a great Hilton brand ambassador. 6. Edwin, the server at the restaurant, is attentive and hardworking. **Cons**: 1. Inexperienced reception staff who are in dire need of training in problem resolution and hospitality. 2. Small lobby with busy, annoying elevators. You can wait for an elevator for 10+ minutes. 3. Understaffed restaurant with rude manager. 4. The beds are not comfortable. The rooms are very small which is to be expected but the housekeeping staff does a wonderful job. If you have an issue, do not leave the property without a resolution. I asked to speak with a manager 24 hrs then again 4 hrs before check-out and guess what? It's been almost a week and management hasn't contacted still.

This is such a lovely hotel . We stayed only for one night ( as BA cancelled our return flight to the uk) but the staff were friendly , the hotel room was modern and very clean , the bed was very comfortable . We really had no complaints ! Also there was no charge for storing your luggage if you have a later flight home …. Would definitely recommend this hotel .

Thinking about our recent visit to Motto puts a smile on my face. Really pretty well furnished and with a wonderful scent when you walk in. The Hotel. Staff was extraordinary. Winnie was our favorite helpful and so knowledgeable and sweet. The room was small but ergonomically brilliantly designed. For two elderly guests who are used to larger spaces it was a great experience. Loved the touch less elevators. Overall wonderful place to stay that is a perfect location for Theater goers.

Checked in was a breeze. I was able to have an early checked in. Room was great and does the job. My biggest concern is the room temperature. It doesn't cool properly. Having a long bus trip from Toronto and been roaming NUC the whole day, I was looking forward to have a good sleep. However, this was ruined by how warm the room is as my room was sun facing in the afternoon. I have contacted the reception staff but they said it is the same for all room and has not even offered any further help. Very disappointed!

I knew the room was going to be small but not that small, and the hanging space located almost above the sink was ridiculous. The so called daily ‘destination fee’ of $30 plus tax seems like a rip off. I asked if we could opt out of that but was told it was mandatory!? It included 2 bottles of water per day, wafers, ear plugs! (presumably because of the noisy air conditioning and thin walls), $10 food and bev daily credit for two of us, 1 daily citibike rental and 1 daily crunch fitness pass. We are seniors so the last two had limited appeal! With one exception, the staff were nice but I would not make a reservation there again.
