Located in Downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, the Mint House offers a comfortable stay with one-bedroom, one-bath studios featuring a private balcony/terrace, a kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, a small sink, and a stovetop, a washer/dryer combo, free WiFi and more. The property offers an outdoor swimming pool, outdoor dining/patio area, a grilling station, a firepit, bike rentals through the ZYBRA app, and valet parking.

Guests can enjoy a relaxing day in the outdoor swimming pool with a grilling station, and a fire pit available for guests use. Guests also have access to bike rentals, perfect for a day of strolling in downtown St. Petersburg, and the local transportation, The SunRunner, the best way to cruise around town without the hassle of finding a parking spot (fee applies).

Parking: Mint House offers a Valet Parking service for a fee of $35 per night, per vehicle. Reservations are required.

Pet Policy: Dogs are welcome. No more than two 2 pets may occupy a guestroom. Each guest is responsible for all charges that relate to the removal of his / her pet, including but not limited to transportation and kennel charges. Pets must be leashed or caged when they are in all common areas of the hotel. Excessive Damage: Your hotel account will be charged for the repair or replacement cost for any damage caused by your pet. A $100 non-refundable pet fee per stay is required at check in. Please notify the property prior to arriving if traveling with a pet. Pet-friendly units are subject to availability.

Please be aware that the fees detailed are subject to adjustments and applicable taxes. Upon arrival and check-in at the front desk, guests are required to provide a security deposit of $200. This deposit is fully released upon departure, provided there are no damages or incidental charges. "Nasty"

Nasty filthy sheets in the room. I can’t believe these nasty, gross sheets were on the bed. It looked almost like someone lives in this room because there was also gross cleaning equipment in the closet. I arrived late at night. I felt violated because I slept (ALONE) in this bed. In the morning, I pulled back the sheets and discovered all these nasty, disgusting stains! I could vomit even now thinking about it. I couldn’t wait to get home and scrub!

"Studio Apt."

The Mint house location is perfect for walking everywhere around the city. I enjoyed the studio I rented, it was clean. They make check in very easy with electronic locks so you have access right away instead of waiting for keys. The bed was a bit hard so that was the only thing that wasn't great about the room. Other than that I would stay again.

"Terrible smoke odor in "non-smoking" hotel"

This hotel claims to be a non-smoking property, but they do not abide by this clause. I checked into my room and it wreaked of smoke, to where someone had clearly been smoking in the room or balcony for an extended period of time. Maintenance acknowledged the awful odor when I requested an oxidizer be sent to the room to try and help the smell. It did not help, and when I asked the front desk if I could please switch rooms, they said they only had one "expedia" room available which they were not willing to give me. Their solution was to cancel my reservation, leaving me and my family with no where to stay for the night and forthcoming days. As my home is currently unlivable due to hurricane damage repairs being done, this was such a terrible experience that left me with nowhere to go. Zero empathy from staff or willingness to acknowledge the breach in their own non-smoking policy.

Great location… comfortable rooms, excellent friendly efficient staff. We were here back when the hurricanes hit… and came back while some of the interior demolition was being done at our home… All the staff awesome… D’Amario, Sean, Dillon, Rebecca, Jayden,and the young man who handled valet parking…

The stay was great, super easy check-in and out. Glad to find this place when needing a last minute place to stay, the room I stayed in had everything you’d need from a kitchen to utensils and a coffee machine. Louis the valet guy was awesome! He was very helpful and funny.
