The resort itself was beautiful. It was clean. My room had a great balcony facing the trees which was nice. The staff was friendly. It was overpriced I think even though this was during peak season. Don’t eat at the resort. I got FOOD POISONING eating dinner there

Overpriced, but it was during spring break. Road construction all throughout the night kept us awake. Not the fault of the property but normally you are made aware prior to your visit. Biggest disappointment was the fact that they are not on a beach which their website boasts. The public beach is nice but be aware you have to pay for chairs and umbrellas. Pool is so small there is no room for all guests to enjoy. Needs a facelift - reminded me of an old Howard Johnson property. Not worth the price we paid. Waitress at Tin Cup was awesome. Didn't get her name but she made every meal enjoyable (older lady with an accent). Rooms comfortable. Grounds well maintained. Check out was difficult and employee was rude. We will not stay at this property again.

Very unprofessional first we call down to the desk they said management left for the night so I went down to desk and Theresa was still on duty at desk and looked at I was the problem because I wouldn’t let my son sleep in a bed with cockroaches, said she can have it sprayed then sleep in it not one sorry for the inconvenience or we have another room till I pressed more on the issue of cockroaches in the bed and killed 2 in bathroom then Theresa got on phone with another manager who put us in another room thank you that manager who used commonsense. We are very unhappy with Theresa, that made my family and I that we were the problem

Over all appearance . Margaritaville needs a face lift for the cost. Several things broke during our stay. Could be a little cleaner. The housekeeping staff. Great job with the daily upkeep of our room. Our bright spot was Anita, our morning server. She went out of her way with her smile and positive attitude. We enjoyed our breakfast with Anite.
