"Great location, friendly and helpful people!"

It is a fantastic hotel with a beautiful view, spotless and accommodating. I came to Victoria as a university guest and stayed at the hotel for five nights. It is a lovely restaurant with a good selection for breakfast and dinner (I did not have lunch there). But the biggest treasure of this place is its people, who are friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive in any way possible. My suitcase got lost by Air Canada for 48 hours, and Brad Edwards and Haydee Pecorelli at the Inn at Laurel Point did everything, close to impossible, to help me out. Just imagine standing in front of the lecture hall full of students in your jeans and sweater from two days ago! These two hotel employees called the airport and tracked my suitcase, and when it was delivered, they came to the breakfast area where I was sitting in tears to make me feel better: compassion, empathy, and tremendous willingness to help their guest. I will always cherish this experience! Again, it is an excellent hotel with an impressive location close to water, but I appreciated the very personal touch that accompanied my stay. Thank you, Haydee and Brad! Thank you, Inn at Laurel Point!

I am a repeat visitor to the Inn at Laurel Point and have enjoyed my time here. It’s a well kept hotel that feels decidedly upscale, even while remaining one of the more affordable higher end hotels in Victoria. There are two wings, the original one is older and generally cheaper, with the new wing being more upscale. I’ve always stayed in the older part and it’s still a comfortable stay. The rooms for the most part have views of the harbour and the energy of the place is thoroughly relaxing. They’ve been updating the rooms over the past few years and it looks quite modern and comfortable. They’ve amenities in the hotel are great. The restaurant and cafe are great options, and while pricy for some things are high quality. The catering at the hotel is one of the best I’ve ever had, so if you’re attending for an event you’ll eat well and have good variety. The hotel is walkable to downtown and to Ogden Point and Dallas Road. There are hotels closer to downtown, but this is both quieter and more scenic. It’s in the goldilocks zone of quiet and central. Staff is friendly and very guest-oriented. I had my room switched to a King instantly when I had opened the door to discover two doubles. They even offered to bring up my new key. If they can accommodate you they usually will. I’ve stayed here almost annually and look forward to returning again next year.

Top tier location, room & hotel ambiance, hospitality and customer service! I felt a sense of timelessness and tranquility. Much gratitude for the space and time to recalibrate. This will be, without a doubt, our go to getaway in the future. We'll be back again! - The Malone's

The staff are warm and friendly and the rooms very comfortable and with great views of the harbour. Lovely pillows on the beds. The hotel is very handy to downtown and Fisherman's Wharf. Lovely walking along the coastal paths. Amenities are terrific and the staff are eager to provide whatever you need. We loved the Duo Cafe and its delicious pastries.

"Well appointed hotel"

A well-placed hotel in a really nice part of Victoria. Large, comfortable rooms look out on to the harbour and seaplanes taxi past regularly. The ambience in the room could have been better. The hotel has a gym and a good swimming pool with a deep end of 7’6”!
