"Rude employee / not a good impression!"

We flew into Vegas and our flight was delayed over five hours :( Had tickets for the after-hours show (8p - midnight). After rushing to get to our hotel to check in, drop off our bags, and ride-share to Area 15, we thought we’d be able to catch the last hour - and were really looking forward to it after our not-so-fun travel day. Arrived a few minutes after 11p, entered the main doors, and were basically yelled at for entering (not joking) - we were told “those doors are supposed to be locked!” (Ummm, sorry, they weren’t.) Then we were told that there was no entry after 11pm. I said, “Oh no, we were delayed five hours…” and she replied “Not MY problem!” WOW. We then asked if we could get a refund (by the way, we were all very nice & understanding, since we were not aware of the no-entry-after-11 - it was what it was. We had digital tickets and that rule was not listed on them). We were at first told no, then when we asked for reconsideration, she said “I’ll let my manager deal with this!” Okay, so refunds granted (by the nicer manager), but the horrible attitude was very uncalled for. Not a great way to begin vacation. Thanks and welcome to Area 15!

Is parking provided?

Yes, you can access the building from the AREA15 parking lot.

Is Illuminarium Las Vegas suitable for children?

Yes, all ages are welcome at Illuminarium. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult, and children under the age of 3 are not required to have a ticket. While the venue has realistic projection and loud sounds (like thunder), there are no moments meant to be intentionally frightening. Some experiential aspects of the attraction may be overwhelming for younger children. If your child is easily overwhelmed or scared, the Illuminarium team recommends you have enough adults in the group to deal with a possible departure of one adult to assist the infant, which requires another adult to remain with any additional children 12 and under.

Are strollers allowed inside?

Yes, strollers are allowed inside. However, Illuminarium does not provide storage for unused strollers, and wagons or similar equipment are not permitted.

Can I bring my camera?

Yes, personal photography is allowed, but it’s recommended to turn off your flash for the best results. Professional photography, tripods, and videography are not permitted.

Can I bring my own food and drinks into Illuminarium?

No, outside food or drinks are not allowed at Illuminarium Las Vegas. However, food and beverages can be purchased from the venue's on-site restaurant.

Can I bring my pet?

No animals are permitted at Illuminarium, except for (1) service animal or service animal in training, and (2) police or other certified assistance animals with a qualified handler on official duty.
