Got here a few hours early (noon, although arrived from Utah where 1pm) with family of four and they wanted to charge a $40 Early check in fee. Declined to pay- went to Glen Canyon visitor center (great), lunch (El Tapatio- fine) and Horseshoe Bend (crowded but lives up to the picture). Came back to check in, waited on long line, and no room available. Sent the kids to the (small) pool (nothing like changing in a lobby restroom) while I waited ~20 minutes for the room. Receptionist apologetic. Fine. Paid for a view room - got a view, but half of it was of the mechanicals. Just level set expectations here - it may be a new building (with paper thin walls that looks straight out of the 1990s, but yes it’s new and clean) but this is very clearly a Hyatt Place not a Park Hyatt.

Pros : 1. Excellent location with views from common balcony 2. Clean hotel and well kept rooms 3. Very good breakfast with many vegetarian options 4. Housekeeping in-room and service at breakfast was good. Cons: 1. Microwave: common or in-room would have been good.

Great hotel, especially for a Hyatt place. Very nice lobby and friendly staff, although they did not offer the usual bottled water for being a world of Hyatt member. It was recognized at the HP Flagstaff, which gets lower reviews. Heated outdoor pool that the kids loved. They have diy laundry available for $2 per load. Fantastic views if you get a canyon facing room. Free breakfast was pretty good. Would stay here again.

We have never been to Page. We looked at different places and this one sounded unique. , so we gave it a try. You order at the counter and they bring your food. It was a very long wait for food. I ordered the pablano cactus grilled cheese and soup. At the top of the sandwich menu it says "served with side of choice" so I chose sweet potato fries. My husband ordered shrimp tacos and the person taking the order told him it came with a side so he also ordered the fries. We were charged for two orders of fries. When my husband questioned it, he was told the soup and sandwich does not include a side. They would only credit us one order of fries. We did not push the issue. The food was very good. The menu needs to be corrected, staff needs to be educated regarding what is included with each item and they need more help.
