Description

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Antelope Canyon with a small-group photography tour on Lake Powell. This guided excursion offers an intimate experience, allowing you to capture the canyon's intricate sandstone formations and mesmerizing light displays.

Departing from Wahweap Marina near Page, Arizona, your Lake Powell experience begins across the serene waters of Wahweap Bay. As the boat glides toward Antelope Canyon, you'll pass the impressive Glen Canyon Dam, a marvel of engineering that stands as the second-largest concrete arch dam in the United States.

Upon entering Antelope Canyon, the towering Navajo Sandstone walls, adorned with shades of red and burnt orange, create a photographer's paradise. The boat’s open-bow design ensures unobstructed views, enabling you to frame the perfect shot of the canyon's narrow passageways and unique geological features.

Throughout the tour, experienced captains are on hand to provide insights and assist in capturing the best photographs. During the warmer months, typically from June to September, there's an opportunity to take a refreshing swim in the clear waters of the canyon, so consider bringing a towel and swimwear.

This tour is designed for both amateur and professional photographers seeking to explore and document one of Arizona's most iconic natural wonders. With limited passenger capacity, the experience is both personal and comfortable, ensuring ample time and space to compose your shots.

Whether you're aiming to enhance your portfolio or simply wish to capture memories of this breathtaking landscape, the Antelope Canyon Photography Boat Tour offers an unforgettable adventure on Lake Powell.

Our family of 4 had a great time on this excursion and it was a wonderful value for our trip! Lans was our guide and we got to see sights, go fast, jump off small cliffs, swim, and learn some history along the way. He also happened to take one of our fave photos of the vacation! We highly recommend this tour! A tip: the time zones in Page are a REAL CONCERN! Your devices will jump back and forth between time zones (mountain versus pacific, DST and no DST), so take care to lock yourself into ARIZONA TIME (or you'll run an hour early for things).
