Older hotel - maybe should say just " old hotel "good location - parking is an issue - only valet - and its $42 - the corridors are very long - reminded me of the Shining movie- needs a renovation - its feels very dated - nice area to walk along the riverfront

"Hotel Valet lost the keys to my truck."

The title says it all. The valet completely lost the keys to my truck. It cause me to miss my morning business meeting and caused me to delay departure 2.5 hours while a locksmith was called to replace the truck key fob. The hotel front desk staff were quick to point out that the valet is a separate company. I selected a hotel, not a valet service. My invoice is from Hotel Tampa Riverwalk, not the valet service. The hotel front desk staff at the Hotel Tampa Riverwalk were apathetic and didn’t even offer me free breakfast for the MASSIVE inconvenience.

Great experience, Victoria at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. We were there to see Incubus and the hotel experience was great, food at the bar was really good before the concert. Location is super convenient as well. Would definitely do it again.

"Hotel Tampa Riverwalk"

Victoria at the Front Desk was excellent! She was friendly and welcoming and gave us great information upon check-in! 5 stars for her! However, breakfast in the hotel restaurant left a lot to be desired. Service was good but food was cold, and we paid $45 for an omelet and a plate of 2 eggs and ham (was more like sandwich ham slices). Sad when the breakfast potatoes were the only hot thing on the plate. No toast - you get exactly what you order. Oh, and we were told there was a breakfast buffet but they have a new chef and the menu is only a la carte now.

Victoria at check in was great! Very friendly and gave us some great recommendations. We truly felt welcomed and valued by her. The giveback $25 resort fee/credit is a great! We enjoyed drinks and apps at the inside bar before the concert. Pilar was also friendly and accommodating. Overall rooms could use some updating but they have everything you need and the hotel location is great; right off the Riverwalk and a close distance to Amalie Arena. Safe to walk and valet was easy to use and convenient for parking downtown. We will definitely recommend this hotel and stay in the future!
