Hotel Amarano Hollywood – Burbank in Burbank, CA

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Amarano. From start to finish, the staff were top notch. The valets were exceptionally friendly. We arrived in the rain and they opened doors, had umbrellas etc. In fact, we ran across the same staff member the next day in the elevator, and he remembered our names! We had two rooms, and one of our guests is quadriplegic. The staff went above and beyond, letting us check in early to one of the rooms to handle a medical need, and were accommodating when we had to make changes due to unexpected health circumstances. The rooms were comfortable and clean, they felt very "elevated" and had nice touches like robes and a Lavazza coffee maker (though a quick instruction card would be helpful). The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, nice view of pool area which we couldn't use because of the rain. Room service was fast and the lady super friendly. We had had a long day at Warner Bros Studios and it was nice to come back to the room and eat. We ordered multiple entrees and drinks; all the food was delicious, cocktails were great. Honestly, there wasn’t a thing we could fault, and I feel like that's so rare these days. The location is perfect, and the little touches made a big difference, like giving us umbrellas to borrow when we left in pouring rain for our tour. It is a nice place but the staff is in my opinion, what makes this hotel exceptional. We looked at other hotels before booking and are so glad we chose to go here and can't wait to come back for the same Gilmore Girls event next year! Thank you!

I visited Hotel Amarano for a staycation with my husband and we really enjoyed our stay! The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious and the staff provided excellent customer service, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The lobby restaurant FYC offers a great free continental breakfast, and we loved everything we tried on the dinner menu as well. The pool and hot tub area is lovely and relaxing, and the rooms have many useful amenities. It’s also convenient to key tourism locations like Universal Studios, the WB Studio Tour, and Burbank airport. Highly recommend for locals and tourists alike!

Hotel Amarano is conveniently located in Burbank with great access by local roads and highway. (It is across the street from a 24 hour supermarket which had come in handy for grabbing items for the room.) The staff is extraordinary- knowledgeable, helpful and caring! I have stayed here for both business and personal reasons over many years and am never disappointed. The atmosphere is lively yet nice and quiet at night. The restaurant is very pleasant to visit - for either a wonderful cocktail or lovely selection of food items. You can also sit undisturbed with your computer if you wish. There is a nice pool and hot tub if you have the time for a dip, as well as an exercise room. Rooms are oversized and well appointed and comfortable, whether you desire a simple single room, a junior suite, or two room suite— you will be happy with the choices. There is also a great expansive chairman’s suite if you need opulence. I go back for the incredible staff, as well as accommodations. You can’t go wrong with this choice of hotel in the area.

My daughter and I were so pleasantly surprised by Hotel Amarano! It's conveniently located...not far from the Burbank airport and Warner Brothers Studios and the decor is beautiful. We loved our room on the 2nd floor, it was clean and well appointed with coffee maker, robes and slippers and a generous number of towels. We are already planning a trip back to Burbank and will most definitely stay here again!

Not a great hotel but good to very good. Great location. Very friendly staff. The “included breakfast” is not well done. Unripe melon, average danish and yogurt. Better than nothing but only marginally. I ordered breakfast one day and it took a half hour to get it served. An omelette shouldn’t be difficult. Room (executive) was spacious and nicely appointed. Bathroom was great. Big and clean. Had bathrobes, slippers and a safe in closet. Coffee maker. 4th floor. Never had to wait for elevator. Security for getting onto elevator from ground floor. Eco-water system should be on every floor (not just 1 and 3) The big issue was the taxes. Ready? CA tourism fee - BTBID assessment (?) - Amenity Fee - Amenity Fee tax - and Occupancy fee. Room average about $235 USD and taxes are $70+ a night. That’s a ridiculous amount of money for nothing. It’s just a way to get more $
