"Pleasantly Surprised"

My daughter and I were so pleasantly surprised by Hotel Amarano! It's conveniently located...not far from the Burbank airport and Warner Brothers Studios and the decor is beautiful. We loved our room on the 2nd floor, it was clean and well appointed with coffee maker, robes and slippers and a generous number of towels. We are already planning a trip back to Burbank and will most definitely stay here again!

"A Good Hotel"

Not a great hotel but good to very good. Great location. Very friendly staff. The “included breakfast” is not well done. Unripe melon, average danish and yogurt. Better than nothing but only marginally. I ordered breakfast one day and it took a half hour to get it served. An omelette shouldn’t be difficult. Room (executive) was spacious and nicely appointed. Bathroom was great. Big and clean. Had bathrobes, slippers and a safe in closet. Coffee maker. 4th floor. Never had to wait for elevator. Security for getting onto elevator from ground floor. Eco-water system should be on every floor (not just 1 and 3) The big issue was the taxes. Ready? CA tourism fee - BTBID assessment (?) - Amenity Fee - Amenity Fee tax - and Occupancy fee. Room average about $235 USD and taxes are $70+ a night. That’s a ridiculous amount of money for nothing. It’s just a way to get more $

"Excellent staff!"

Hats off to the staff at Hotel Amarano! The check-in and valet drop-off processes were smooth. Our room was nice, but the toilet and microwave had issues. The kind staff made sure that all of our needs were met, however. We were quickly moved to a different room and really loved our stay. The restaurant is great, and so are the amenities. I’d be remiss to not mention how comfortable the robes are! More than anything, the staff is why we would consider returning if we ever needed to have another LA staycation! My only suggestions are for them to hang hooks for towels and to upgrade the toilet paper. Highly recommend!

Lovely boutique hotel in Burbank Uber from LAX was $81 Inc tip and took 55 minutes Normal stuff for LA The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from from the Warner Bros tour and a 10/15 ride from Universal Studios City Walk. Ideal position for both Although you're close to the Ventura freeway you'd never know There's a shopping centre directly over the road with a Vons supermarket open 24/7, Starbucks, Panda Express, Handel's Ice Cream, Ma's Italian and a few others too. Very handy. Check in was a breeze. Room 214 overlooking the courtyard was big and spacious with all the amenities you'd expect Didn't visit the pool area but looked nice from afar Continental breakfast was included in the amenity fee which was nice as you wouldn't usually get things you might want for your $30/40 a night elsewhere in the US The best part was how utterly friendly and nice the staff are. Always asking about your day with a smile If you're looking for a nice hotel in the Burbank/Universal City are then choose this one

"Celebrity Treatment at Hotel Amarano"

Absolutely amazing stay at the Hotel Amarano! From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we felt like celebrities. The super helpful staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, from helping with our luggage to checking us into our room early so that we could head over to Universal. The room itself was spacious, bed was comfy and had plenty of storage. Continental breakfast was a welcomed inclusion. We stayed over Halloween and were very grateful to the kind gentleman on Concierge for suggesting that we take a walk over to Toluca Lake. Both of my children had the best time. Being from the UK, they were in awe of the extent of decoration and overall friendliness of the home owners. They have enough candy to last them for a while :) Thank you Hotel Amarano for making our stay a memorable one. Recommend 1000%
