We chose this hotel excepting to have an Hilton quality. We had a room at the last floor. It was impossible to sleep because of the noise above the roof. The bathroom was fine but the shower was not adjustable, because I’m not tall I had to hold the shower with my hand. (Very convenient when you are a woman and need to wash your hair…) the hair dryer doesn’t work. The coffee machine doesn’t work too. This hotel charge 37$ for the parking overnight, there is absolutely no security in the parking. The gate was open all the time and the parking floor was in very bad condition. We had to be very caution with our car. In resume this hotel was very expensive for a bad quality.

Front Desk Staff Erika seemed Passive Agressive in explaining the charges to my hotel bill & parking fee was not explained properly although I just told her that I paid everything online through the direct website, her communication skills were very subpar in this matter, She needs more training, I don't know why she's a Supervisor & the room itself was very unpleasant hair was in the toilet & shower was broken

"Hot tub, elevator, bathroom door all broken, room dirty, some rooms noisy"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5

The first room was adjoining a room with a yippy dog and a screaming baby and the walls were paper thin so we could hear everything. It was also on the interstate side of the hotel so there was quite a bit of freeway noise. They did move us to a quieter room, which is why I’m giving two stars rather than one. One of the elevators was out of order the entire three days we were there. There was a half-eaten Dorito on the floor of our new room. We had no chips of any kind on the entirety of this trip so there is no chance it was ours. The hot tub was out of order the entire stay, and the hot tub was the ONLY reason I picked this particular hotel. I could have stayed in a cheaper hotel, closer to the zoo, that offered free breakfast but I thought after a full day on our feet at the zoo it would be REALLY nice to soak in the hot tub. But no… it was closed. And even if it was open it’s really tiny. And I couldn’t even soak in a bath because the room only had a shower stall. No soaking of anything whatsoever. The door to the bathroom was broken. They don’t appear to maintain *anything* in this hotel and they were completely unapologetic about the hot tub. Oh, it’s a free amenity… it might or might not be available. So definitely don’t book on that basis. Or really… any basis.

"One of the More Disappointing "Brand Name" Hotels We've Ever Stayed In"
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5

As long time Hilton Honors members, we booked the Hilton Mission Valley, San Diego, CA expecting a decent property. To be fair, we got what we paid for. The daily rate was lower than expected, but here's whi I would have been happy to pay more for a better experience: - That daily room rate was competitive, but the daily parking rate was $37.50, and the standard and generally disappointing "reheated Costco breakfast prepared foods" was an additional $25/person, or you could order a la carte omlettes and such for $18/$22, all sides from the buffet line, plus $5 for coffee, so same same, but could ultimately cost more. - No shuttle service from the airport. - A busy and noisy freeway below all front-facing rooms. - Our room had fast-food wrapper garbage in the trash cans, no towels, no tissue paper, no cups in the bathroom, only shampoo and conditioner in the wall-mounted dispensers. - No hand hair dryer. - No microwave. - Barely adequate air conditioning. - Twice during our stay, even with the Do Not Disturb sign on or door, house-keeping staff unlocked and entered our room while we were inside.
