Suitable for ages 12+.
Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, sun hat, beverages, and waterproof bags for devices are allowed on board.
Food, drugs, and spray sunscreen are not allowed on tour.

"Ferry/golf cart trip"

We took the ferry ride to the island and rented a golf cart which is the only way to tour this island. The map provided was hard to follow. I had to use my GPS several times. It would have been nice if the map indicated paved/unpaved roads to avoid to make it easier on your back. We enjoyed the afternoon and the lunch at the outside bar was delicious along with the free drink offered from the ferry company.

"Great Day on Daufuskie Island, South Carolina"

We did the Day Tour to Daufuskie Island-Meals and Wheels. The boat ride to the Island was enjoyable. We enjoyed riding the island in the golf cart even though it was very slow. We had a map to follow but the roads were poorly marked. But, the exploring and discovery was the experience. We found the Island's distillery and enjoyed our blueberry lavendar vodka lemonade. It was great that the tour included a $20 per person meal voucher for the Old Daufuskie Crab Company. The food was great and enjoyed sitting at the water's edge. The only disappointing thing was that we wished we had more time on the island to explore. We will definitely do the tour again.
