The over all experience was very good. It is hard to be objective with a place your appreciate and enjoy, however, customer service lacks. The limit of any business is not what you offer, but who your people are. Training on customer awareness and friendliness is overly needed. All the attractions and shows are great. I would recommend you go and enjoy the visit.

I really enjoyed myself at the Georgia Aquarium! I like to make a habit of visiting local aquariums when I'm in a new location. I was excited about this solo visit while staying in downtown Atlanta for a work party over the weekend. This was one of the most aesthetically pleasing Aquariums that I've been to. I'm not sure how long it's been in operation, but I suspect it's either fairly new or been recently renovated by how new and clean everything was. The grounds were pristine, the signs were modern and updated, and most importantly, the exhibits were wonderfully clean! It was obvious to me that they take pride in keeping everything updated and clean. There was a large variety of animals to see, and some you could even touch, such as stingrays and sturgeons. I made sure to make my way to each and every exhibit, which took me only a couple of hours. (Keep in mind: I kept a very steady pace, didn't stop to read all informational signs, and I was alone). I was able to see the Sea Lion show upon entering, and it was an action-packed and educational 20-minute experience. I highly recommend it! The other exhibits that I enjoyed the most were: Sharks, Beluga whales, and sea otters. They even had an enormous auditorium-size tank with 2 relatively "small" whale sharks, which surprised me on multiple levels. I mean, whale sharks can get enormous in size, and to have two in captivity is extremely rare. I cannot recall ever seeing these in another aquarium that I've visited. Of course there were many smaller exhibits that were also very cool. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at the Georgia Aquarium and I highly recommend it for any one of any age. It's a guarantee highlight!

This is the best aquarium experience I've had. I've been to Monterey (when it opened) and the one in Chicago. The aquarium in Atlanta kept up interested and entertained for 3 hours. The tanks were awesome. It was always very easy to see the animals. The show was fun. Didn't try the food (it looked like the usual fried fare). The number of bathrooms, accessibility and kid friendly stations made this perfect!
