Overview

Experience all nature has to offer at Five Oaks Riding Stables. Enjoy a horseback ride through the foothills of the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The trails give a wonderful view of Mt. Leconte, as well as mountain streams, wildlife, and a breathtaking spring-fed lake in this 70-acre mountain setting. Fun for the entire family!

Description

Enjoy all nature has to offer at Five Oaks Riding Stables. You'll enjoy a horseback ride through the foothills of the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park. On our wide, secure trails you will have a wonderful view of Mt. Leconte and pass mountain streams.

There is a very good chance to see a variety of wildlife on this tour as well. Sightings of deer, wild turkey and other wildlife native to our area are common.

You will also pass a breathtaking spring-fed lake in this 70 acre mountain setting, a view in itself worth the price of the ride!

Helmet is mandatory for riders 12 and younger. Helmet is provided. Riders must be at least 4 years old to ride a horse.

IMPORTANT: All children below the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Double Riders allowed for ages 3 to 5 years old with 1 hour paid adult ticket. Additional charges apply.

Great place to ride horses. My daughter who is 4 years old loved the whole experience!!

Tip: Get to the stable earlier than what they say cause there were a whole bunch of people checking in for more than riding horses like the zip lining feature.

My boyfriend has always wanted to ride a horse and we came to these stables and got just that! We came on a couples trip and we all had an amazing time! the staff was great! Jess was our instructor and her personality made the experience even better! The horses are beautiful and we will definitely be returning on our next trip :)

The staff was super friendly, and we enjoyed ourselves. The only downfall was the people in front of us didn't know how to control their horses and slowed everyone down to a crawl.

"Horseback riding in Pigeon Forge"

It was my second time in the area and I appreciated this time appreciated not having to drive so far to go horseback riding. Convenient location in Pigeon Forge, across from the Outlets and close to Dollywood. The staff was friendly and efficient. We had a wonderful experience!

Tip: Plan to get there ahead of time. Traffic is a little heavy on the Parkway at certain times.

Tip: don't take anything if you take a phone have a good pocket to place it in and dont forget a tip.

I had a good time. But, I was very scared the whole time. my horse got spoked from another horse in a field he jumped the fence and charged my horse. and my horse jumped up twice on me and was spoked and was very on edge the rest of the ride. She kicked another horse in the face. I was just scared the whole time. I recommend a guide in the front and the back. I was in the very back and the guide was 12 horses in front of me and couldn't control the situtuation . Very scary. but, I understand they can't control animals I just recommend two guides on a trip
