"Perfect Getaway!!"

This hotel is great! The beds were so comfy! We loved the pool! The pool bar has all drinks available. The bartender passed out free drink samples! The breakfast, the happy hour were great! So many choices for food! It is a perfect location. Walking distance to Fashion Square and restaurants.

"Mixed experience"

Nice living area, comfortable bed and spacious bedroom. Bathroom was in serious need of repair/updating. Ceiling had visible pieces missing. Tub was Pretty slippery and seemed old. Was unhappy with room cleaning-we did put out a do not disturb sign but always removed when we left room for bulk of the day. Kleenex never replaced,towels never refreshed-we were there 4 nights. Breakfast was one of the better spreads we’ve seen.

This place has the temerity to call itself a resort when it's actually more of a run down motel that smells of mildew and failure. The front clerk was rude and not helpful at all and it went downhill from there. She took one look at me on my mobility scooter that I need for extended walking and standing and assigned me an accessible room that I specifically did not want or request. She rudely insisted she needed my phone number, even though I’ve never had to before because it’s in the system. She never once acknowledged my Diamond Status or offer me the snack bag that we’re supposed to receive, although she made a point of offering it loudly to another guest. The room smelled of mildew so bad that I'm sure there was a mold issue. The pillows were thin and everything looked old, worn, and outdated. When we returned to the lobby she got snarky and said "so do you NOT want me to help you or do you want the supervisor. Hmmm...it's like she was familiar with complaints. She then tried to be a part of the conversation even after telling her that her presence was not wanted. She smirked and took a step away and proceeded to rudely eavesdrop. The supervisors was more of an undervisor. He asked me if I could go in an elevator! Like, seriously? Then he tried giving me a double when I had booked a king. No. Then he typed for a while and started offering different rooms all over the hotel and asking "which one I wanted". Whichever one doesn't smell! I ended up leaving and driving an hour and a half back home. I had booked the place for an early doctor appointment. I would rather drive in morning traffic and lose my money than stay there. I would rather sleep in my car than stay there because at least I know there's no mold under the carpet. I had to insist on a final bill so they didn’t tack on phones charges, because that’s the vibe I got. I didn’t feel welcome or even safe.

A wonderful breakfast buffet and happy hour offering. The pool and hot tub is wonderful, and the facility is very nice for fitness as well. The room was nice size and clean, but the heat did not work for a few days, and the door in the bathroom was broken and it never did get fixed. Other than that, it's a great place to stay.

Service was great. While the property is a bit dated, the rooms are very clean and spacious. The property is well maintained and we enjoyed the evening reception and the morning breakfast. Great location to Old Scottsdale as well as a lot of fun restaurants and hiking trails.
