"Nice property with outstanding employees!"

While the spacious rooms make Embassy Suites one of our preferred hotels, it was the wonderful staff that make our recent visit to the Scottsdale property so memorable! In addition to attentive and skilled housekeeping, we were particularly impressed by those preparing (made to order) omelets, who were not only gracious to several guests that arrived a few minutes after official closing time, but made the extra effort to accommodate an individual with disabilities. And then, after the dining room had closed, the chefs made omelets for employees who were working together on Christmas; it was clear from our observed interaction there is a warm, collaborative team of hotel staff who feel good about their job, which is translated to those staying at the hotel! Congratulations to the property ownership ("Azul"?) on recognizing in the hospitality industry, it's the relationships that are key to success! :-)

"Great time at Scottsdale Embassy Suites."

We had a great stay at this resort. All in all, a great value. The rooms are nice, the grounds are well kept and very clean. The location is great. My wife and I were there for 4 nights and never had a car. The complimentary shuttle service was super nice and our driver was super nice. ALL the staff were very pleasant. The bar tenders at the complimentary happy hour were great, nice people. Breakfast was amazing. The ONLY bummer was during a big chunk of our stay some boys youth international soccer team was staying here. They must not have won many games because they camped out at the east end pool/jacuzzi area for 3 days. They weren’t bad kids but 20 12 year boys sitting in a jacuzzi for 6 hours was a bit much. Maybe ask before you book if anything like that is happening before you book?

"Tired and dirty"

I was very much looking forward to staying at this resort. Our first obstacle presented when an elevator was out of order and created quite a bit of confusion on getting to our room. Once we got into our room the very first thing I saw was a loose pill sitting on the desk. The lack of cleanliness really stood out. The carpet had not been vacuumed. I don’t go barefoot in hotels and the bottom of my socks were filthy. The tub has been resurfaced at some point but it was peeling and looked awful, not to mention the hair of the previous guests on the shower walls. Other things that were issues was the HVAC system. We froze the first night as we couldn’t get it above 65°. I asked for house keeping service as we were leaving for dinner the second day. The front desk attendant assured me they would take care of our room. They didn’t show up until the next afternoon. I would never stay here again. The only reason I didn’t give it one star is because the staff that we did interact with were very nice.

I loved it, really family oriented and clean, also close to downtown . Close to restaurants and breakfast was amazing. They have a reception time with drinks and appetizers. Staff were very polite and friendly. Recommend this place to families

"A Mixed Experience"

Our recent stay at Embassy Suites, Scottsdale, presented a mixed bag of experiences. While we fondly remember past visits, particularly the exceptional complimentary breakfast and warm hospitality, this stay fell short of our expectations. The hotel has undergone renovations, but these improvements were not without drawbacks. The closure of the west side hot tub and limited elevator access created inconveniences (3 of 5 elevators were closed). Furthermore, the cleanliness of our rooms was a significant concern, with issues ranging from mold and broken bathroom fixtures to inadequate drainage and lingering traces of previous guests. The hotel's staff seemed overwhelmed by the influx of guests, impacting service levels, particularly at breakfast and housekeeping thoroughness. While we appreciate the hotel's location, price, and the generally positive experiences of past stays, these recent shortcomings likely deter us from returning in the near future.
