We always book Hilton because we are Diamond members. First time having a terrible experience. Marguerite at the desk just looked at me when I walked up to the check in. I asked could I check in and she acted like I disturbed her from something on her computer. She made it very difficult to check-in by not allowing me to check in because my husband and business partner made the reservation; she would not accept the payment my husband made from his card on file because he was not there. When I came back after lunch (giving my husband time to call and sort it bout), I stood waiting to be helped and she made us stand there and it wasn’t until her colleague said “we will be right with you” did she acknowledge us. We were the only family in line! This irritated me. We got an email before arrival that we would be upgraded. I mentioned that to her and she said she had one for us but did not upgrade us. Gave us a very basic room which was below Hilton standards, in my experience. I don’t know if this was a bad day for Marguerite but the only thing she did kindly was offer to give us more bottles of water. The hotel is in dire need of updating, very old carpet, no modern amenities in rooms (little frig with no freezer), elevators are far away. Splintered wood and missing paint on headboard. I kept checking my $500+ ‘bait and switch’ receipt (I was unfortunately charged more than what was quoted by the Hilton phone rep) to make sure it was still a Hilton. I’m so disappointed. Corporate needs to know how this hotel treats Diamond members that have spent money here for decades.

Overall, the hotel was a wonderful experience: delicious chocolate chip cookies, plenty of open spaces, amenities, pleasant rooms with GREAT SERVICE!!! Upon check-in, Margaret warmly greeted us at the front desk. She welcomed us as though we were VIPS and longtime friends. As frequent travelers, we have found what distinguishes a property is not only the property itself but the level of hospitality it provides guests. Margaret, in our opinion, is the ideal ambassador for the DoubleTree!

No microwave. No refrigerator. Very sad breakfast buffet. Upscale restaurant not open. But chocolate chip cookies were good. $30 for overnite parking is a ripoff. No one to help with luggage. And a luggage cart was tucked away about 50 yards from the entry. one of our parties is disabled and it is a long walk from check in to elevators.

We resided at the hotel from February 20th to the 24th. Although there was an initial confusion regarding our room arrangements, specifically concerning a requested rollaway bed, the staff efficiently accommodated us in a suite on the 10th floor. I would like to express my gratitude to Margaret, who was particularly supportive when I needed to buy new pants from a familiar clothing store. The dedication of Margaret and the staff to providing exceptional customer service will remain in our memories. The dining experiences across the different restaurants were remarkable. We sincerely appreciate your efforts in making our stay unforgettable.

Nice enough hotel with a nice pool area… not much to do in the area, but we only stayed one night. Place is quiet even though it’s close to the airport. Staff are quite remarkable. We had Margaret check us in and she really took spectacular care of us. Thanks Margaret!!
