Days Inn by Wyndham Irving Grapevine DFW Airport North in Irving, TX

The hotel is clean and nice enough, but the beds are hard as rocks. So much so that I had to go to Target and buy a foam pad, and get adjusted by a chiropractor while I was there. Other than that, it was a nice stay. They do offer a breakfast in the morning, but we did not use it because there were so many good brunch places nearby.

This is a cheap hotel close to the airport. Key cards didn't work. Front desk employee was missing most of the time. Breakfast for a couple was a little sack containing two small, dry muffins and 4 tiny granola bars (all from Sam's Club). When requesting airport shuttle, calls to the front desk went unanswered 6 times before anyone bothered to answer. We will not stay here again.

The rooms were nice and clean. Check in was easy. The shuttle picks you up from the airport even late night and it was really quick getting to the airport. I would stay again if I had a layover in Dallas/Fortworth Texas. Only thing is the ice maker was not working and had no sign.

I booked this hotel on 12/21 as a "park, stay, fly" place, initially I booked it for the beginning and end nights of my trip; when I checked in on the 21st, around 9pm the front desk staff checkeded me in, here's when things got ''interesting" - he couldn't find my registration after several minutes he did, I explained to him that my daughter and her husband were checking in around 1 am to stay with me; I filled the "parking forms" for both cars and gave him my daughter's info, hoping I'd be asleep when they got there, he said the parking fee was "CASH ONLY" strange but ok I had to get in bed! I paid it! then he procedded to say my room # aloud! in front of a couple male guests really bothersome, being an alone female traveler; tried to find my room LOT WAS FULL! I had to park on a handicap space. I thought "just overnight" I"ll move it before I fly out in the morning; room was old, semiclean, thin linens, yes, I know it's a 2 star hotel; after having given the front desk guy my daugther's info I got a land line call at 2am "to verify" I was up all night after that. ok next - shuttle, I assumed it was owned by the hotel- wrong! the shuttle goes to several hotels nearby; now on the return, 5 nights later my daughter and husband were just picking up their car to drive home, they called the shuttle, waited 45 minutes, shuttle gets there, ITS FULL! uber was faster!, I returned 2 nights later ubered to hotel, based on my daughter's prior experience with shuttle; checked in - same issue room # given out loudly. get to the room - roaches! go downstairs to request refund! I'm not staying there! he didn't seem surprised at all! and I requested to refund my money! I found another place 2 miles down the road. BOTTOM LINE- UNLESS YOU WANT TO TAKE "GUESTS" HOME AND SHOWER WITH THEM DO NOT STAY THERE!!! THE ROACHES WERE ABOUT 2 INCHES LONG!! there's no reason for the cleaning crew to leave dead roaches on the bathroom floor and in the tub, as for alive ones I suposse there's nothing they can do about it! next time I'll stay at a different place even if I can't have extended parking!

Well 3 flaws, 1 bulb burned out in bathroom. I was rather disappointed.2 saw cockroaches in room, that was really a a let me out of here moment 3 coffee pot is missing parts, like the fill lid,I got burned walking by from hot water splashing. On the plus side wonderful restaurant and friendly folk both at restaurant and check in counter.
