"CHECK THE BEDDING!!!"

We have been using Choice Hotels for many years and have had no major problems-until September 15th, 2024. My wife woke up at 3 AM with terrible itching and had no idea why. Turns out, after my inspection that bed bugs seemed to be the problem. We called the front desk and two managers came to our room to see what the problem was. Marco(manager) saw the problem and before I could say DON"T TOUCH he grabbed the evidence and said "it's only dust", which wasn't true. There was also one on the sheet and he grabbed that one too and said " that's just a crumb". My wife is still itching from the bites and she is frustrated and annoyed. They did offer us a $50 dollar refund for our inconvenience, but nothing was said about fixing the problem. This is a very popular location and I'm sure they would hate to lose any business, but if there is an infestation, it needs to be handled. If you do happen to stay there just make sure you check all the bedding and and furniture. These critter are just nasty!

"Overpriced"

Overpriced for what you get. Clean rooms, soft bed, quiet. There is a large curb at the drop off point for luggage. Consequently you have to take your luggage away from the entrance to find a low curb to pull the luggage caddy into the hotel. Poorly designed. Halls are air conditioned. Kind of drab hotel.

"Very Good Stay"

This Comfort Inn is very clean, comfortable bed. We stayed in a king size room with 2 mini fridges, large screen TV, coffee maker. The staff is very friendly. Easy check in and easy check out. The breakfast was good. The hotel is conveniently located on the outskirts of Pigeon Forge. We would stay here again!

"Nice Hotel"

The hotel was nice. It was clean, beds and pillows comfortable. We had a lot of room. I have a 10lb Morky. I was charged a non refundable fee of$75.00. People traveling with pets know that it is way too much to pay for your dog. The staff was very kind. The breakfast bar was nice. We will probably pass on this place next time due to the pet fee.

"Best Family Hotel Vacation Ever!!"

This was hands down one of the best Choice Hotels we've stayed at and we've stayed in a LOT of these hotels in the last 8 years. The rooms were clean, beds nice and comfortable, pillows just the right softness/hardness, plenty of towels, wash clothes and the complimentary soap actually smelled NICE! But the very BEST part of this stay was dealing with the front end desk auditors. Each and every one of them were friendly, thoughtful, kind, understanding, very polite and competent. They actually cared about each and every guest and went over and beyond. The atmosphere here was relaxing and fun; the outdoor seating area is perfect for morning coffee and watching the sun rise. The breakfast was beyond what you'd normally expect; they have a mother and daughter running the kitchen and there wasn't a single thing we didn't like, from the waffles to the coffee, how clean everything was at ALL times, even during the rush hours - we can't say enough about how wonderful they did and how great the food was. Thank you Vicky, Donna, Diane, Dale and I'm sure I'm missing someone - but thank you to everyone working there; you made our first family vacation in years something fun and special, so much so that we bailed out on Washington D.C. to come back to you for the remaining days and we will certainly come back each time we go to the Smokey's. We've already told several family and friends to stay there and we can't wait to see y'all again!
