When does Big Kahuna's Water Park open?

Big Kahuna Water Park's operating hours fluctuate seasonally. The outdoor water park is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Please check the operating calendar above for operating hours on your preferred dates. Please note, some attractions may close without notice due to weather conditions or maintenance.

Is Big Kahuna NJ suitable for children?

Yes! This water park is fun for all ages. Children (2) and under are FREE, however Big Kahuna’s reserves the right to ask for proof in the event there is a clear discrepancy and reserves the right to change policy. Please be sure to pack a swim diaper or purchase one from our merchandise counter, if in-stock. Minors (anyone under the age of 18) must be accompanied by an adult. The Park does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors.

Are there any health restrictions for visiting?

It is recommended that persons with pre-existing medical conditions or who are pregnant not participate. Each individual is encouraged to evaluate his or her own ability to participate.

Am I allowed to re-enter Big Kahuna's Water Park NJ if I leave?

Yes. The wristband is valid for the entire day. You may exit the facility and return into the park the same day so long as you keep your wristband on. Ripped or torn wristbands require the original receipt from purchase for replacement.

Does Big Kahuna's NJ sell food?

Big Kahuna’s Oasis Indoor Water Park has a full service cafe and lounge area. Outside food and beverages are prohibited in the building.

Are there lockers available?

Yes, there are small and large locker rentals available on a first come-first serve basis. Small lockers are $10 per day, and a large locker costs $15 per day. Prices subject to change.

Are there shower rooms available?

Yes, in the men’s and women’s locker rooms. There is also a family restroom equipped with a shower. They do not provide toiletries and towels are only available for purchase.

Is there seating available in the water park?

Yes, there are tables and chairs available on a first come first serve basis.

What should I wear and bring?

Wear your bathing suits and bring your own towels, toiletries and gadgets! Water shoes are not required on premise, but is recommendable for the safety and health of guests. Flotation devices of any kind are not permitted inside the water park. Swimming goggles are permitted with the exception of on the slides and at the discretion of the lifeguards.

Will there be lifeguards on duty?

Big Kahuna’s maintains certified lifeguards within the park during all operating hours. Safety rules are posted at each pool and attraction. Please be sure non swimmers or weak swimmers wear life vests. Complimentary life vests are located inside the water park.

Is there an arcade or game room in the water park?

Big Kahuna's has a modern, 3,000-square-foot arcade. It is well-maintained with the newest and most-exciting games. They also have a redemption counter stocked with goodies you and your family will love.

What if it rains?

Big Kahuna's Waterpark has both an outdoor and an indoor water park. The 2-acre outdoor water park is full of fun under the sun. If it rains, you can proceed to the indoor water park which has a state-of-the-art retractable roof, and over 70,000 square feet of indoor water park attractions.
