The Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel provides affordable comfort in a 3-Diamond full-service hotel. Perfectly located, just off of International Drive, away from the traffic, yet close to the action! This hotel features “Sharky & Jack's” Caribbean restaurant & lounge, “Shades” New York-style deli, a seasonal pool bar, a lighted basketball court, a heated pool, 2 semi-private Jacuzzi’s, a large sun deck, and more.

Each guest room at this family-friendly hotel in Orlando features flat-screen TVs with HBO channels, mini-refrigerators, microwaves, high-speed WiFi, and more.

Free scheduled transportation to Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and Islands of Adventure are offered. The shuttle to Disney's Epcot transportation hub is $5.00 per person. All shuttles need to be reserved online at least 24 hours in advance. Plenty of dining options are nearby such as the Orlando's Restaurant Row beaming with fast food, casual, and fine dining options. Attractions are within a short driving distance from the hotel. SeaWorld Orlando is approximately a five-mile drive, Adndretti's Indoor Karting and Games is two miles away, and many attractions on International Drive are within ten minute's drive from this hotel. Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets is approximately 6.6 miles from the Best Western Orlando Gateway.

The resort fee is $14 per night, plus taxes ($15.75 inclusive) per room due to the hotel directly upon arrival.

Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed. ADA-defined service animals are welcome.

Parking: Free self-parking is offered to registered hotel guests, limited to one car per room. Additional parking passes are $22.50 per night, plus taxes.

Rooms are very clean. Staff is vwry friendly. Complementry luggage storage for same day. Hotel is near by universal studio ($8-10 in taxi). Swmming pool is good with two hot tubs. Drinking water is available in Gym up to 10 pm and extra money for breakfast.

Very clean. Good, cheap rates and right around the corner from Universal! The tv’s were smart tv’s. The staff was very nice at check-in and check-out, especially Ivo. There is a restaurant and a little convenience store in the lobby for small needs when you do not feel like leaving. We will definitely stay here again!

Clean and fresh, although there is a little age to this facility, I couldn't help but be impressed with the cleanliness. The look, the feel, the smell. Everything from the pool to the bar, is well kept and clean. My hat is off to all of the staff.for this. The front desk staff helped me out a lot. Evelyn and Barbara had the shifts for the time I was there. What impressed me the most was not their working skills but the fact that they had been well brought up, well before they decided to come to work. This kind of quality upbringing brings more to the table than your typical pencil pushing front desk clerk. The feeling you get is one of confidence, that you are in the right place and that your needs will be met. Really, that's what matters. Once you cross that threshold, your worries can disappear. Then I can get comfortable. Thank you.

I posted a review on Google, but thought I'd add my review here since this was such a nice hotel: Wonderful hotel in Orlando near Universal Studios for an overnight stay. Price very good, Friendly and accommodating staff, really nice rooms, excellent customer service. There's an adjoining restaurant (Sharkeys) open for breakfast lunch and dinner and a nice pool and hot tub. The hotel has an snack shop where we could grab snacks, sandwiches, drinks, souveniers, etc. before heading over to the parks if you don't have time for breakfast. I believe this hotel has shuttle to the parks, but we didn't use it. We are members of Best Western's rewards program, and they upgraded us to a really nice room with a great view. We only live a couple hours away and would definitely will stay here again (it's close to Universal and we are passholders) when we come to Orlando and visit Universal Studios. At reception we were greeted by Gabriel who explained all the amenities and strengths of the accommodation with friendliness and honesty. In the rooms we found comfort, cleanliness and coziness and at breakfast we were very well received with cordiality and interest in serving us. I highly recommend this accommodation.
