Not in the mood to go out? Room service is available, or you can buy light snacks at Mokapu Market and eat them in your room.

Spend your day by the five outdoor pools, three of which are beachfront, with one being an adult-only pool. Prefer the beach? This Hyatt hotel offers direct access to Mokapu Beach, where you can swim or enjoy water activities like canoeing, snorkeling, and stand-up paddleboarding.

We had an unforgettable stay at the Andaz Maui. The hotel was clean, luxurious, and beautifully maintained throughout. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like we were part of the family. Max at the front desk went above and beyond to make our anniversary special — his warmth and thoughtfulness truly set the tone for our entire stay. Ryan at the valet greeted us with genuine friendliness every day, and Eric at the concierge made sure every moment was thoughtfully curated and memorable. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with an incredible shower that felt like a spa experience. Breakfast each morning was a highlight — the mochi waffles were out of this world, and the fresh Hawaiian fruit was the perfect touch. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Andaz exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

I have mixed reviews about Andaz; we stayed here for a wedding, part of a block of rooms. The resort is beautiful, and we upgraded to an oceanview room so we could enjoy the scenery. Our room was large and spacious with a nice balcony. The bed was fairly comfortable and it was pretty quiet. The pools were beautiful; there's also an adult only pool which was peaceful. The beach was also lovely and they will let you borrow snorkeling gear. What I wasn't impressed with was some of the staff. When we checked in, the woman at the front desk was wearing a dress that belonged in a nightclub (lots of cleavage showing!). Later on in the trip, we came back to our room at 2:30 and the room hadn't been cleaned. The cleaning carts had been in the hall when we left the room that morning so it was obviously an oversight. When I mentioned it to the same woman at the front desk her response was "these things happen". Really?? Yes, they do, but that's not the correct answer. When I gave feedback via the hotel chat I was told that I should not make comments about staff online as other staff members can view the conversation (I purposely did this so that Corporate would know what's going on). We also noticed food left in hallways for 10+ hours, and our room was not restocked properly by housekeeping. On a positive note, the guys at the bar were awesome!! Sy, Dylan and Dakota made some tasty drinks and hooked us up with some incredibly addicting macadamia nuts. Overall, for the price we paid, we were underwhelmed.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a lovely time. I really liked the Andaz resort. The rooms were well appointed and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet at night and the beds are very comfortable. We didn’t really spend much time at the pools, but they looked lovely. Highly recommend this resort!

I've stayed at the Andaz since it opened in 2013. The hotel could use some refreshing as wear and tear is starting to show. Issues with housekeeping and cleanliness but overall we had a great time. There were a few individuals who went above and beyond during our stay and I feel worthy of mentioning. Jenny and Elijah, who work at Ka'ana Kitchen for breakfast, were especially outstanding. Both are outgoing and personable, provided excellent service, and even remembered us from previous visits, which made our experience feel truly special. Kamealoha Lum Ho, who checked us in, went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful stay and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Darius, from the pool area staff, also stood out with his warm and engaging personality. Their exceptional service made a lasting impression and contributed greatly to our overall experience.

We had high expectations and they were exceeded. The grounds and pools are lovely, pool chairs were easy to come by and the beach in front was great for swimming. Our room was not ocean facing, but we had a great private porch overlooking a garden. The beds were very comfortable, and the big shower was a hit with our family. Little touches such as complimentary Andaz water bottles with filtered water and a quality coffee maker made our stay even easier.
