This is the final date for the dispatch of preregistration packets. Registrations made after this date will need to collect their packets from the registration site.
Wednesday, March 13, 2024
Registration packets for late applicants can be picked up and on-site registration opens from 1 PM to 4:00 PM at the Four Points by Sheraton Myrtle Beach, located at 101 Fantasy Harbour Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.
Those who have registered their cars and trucks can enter the show venue to park between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Please note that entry or exit for any reason outside the scheduled show hours is not permitted.

The car show will take place from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the following location: 2501 N Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 (Between 21st & 27th Ave N).

The final day of the show will also run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the same location. Please note, that there will be no packet pickup or on-site registration on this day. Make sure you have everything you need before entering the showgrounds.
Catch Luke Duke & The Blues Brothers at Run to the Sun
An exciting announcement for fans of the Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show; Tom Wopat, famously known as Luke Duke from the beloved 80’s TV series “The Dukes of Hazzard”, is set to make a celebrity appearance. He boasts a discography of 12 records over the last 35 years, the most recent being the gripping album, “Wopat”. You will have the opportunity to see Wopat and the turbocharged 1969 Dodge Charger, famously known as “General Lee”, throughout the weekend at the Run to the Sun Myrtle Beach 2024.
Also adding to the lineup, the Hammond Brothers, Stan and Bob, will be appearing as Jake and Elwood Blues, characters they’ve been emulating from the 1980 movie “The Blues Brothers” for nearly ten years. There’s also a treat for car fans – the Bluesmobile, the 1974 Dodge Monaco Sedan that featured in the film will be accompanying them at the Run to the Sun happening on March 14-15-16 2024.

Run to the Sun Car Show Registration:
- Score a steal deal by getting yourself an early-bird registration until December 31st, priced at just $65.
- Missed the early-bird timeline? Don’t worry! Register between January 1st and February 1st for a still-reasonable $80.
- Planning on waiting until the last minute or registering on the day of the show? The cost is a bit higher – $100 to be precise.
Prices for Spectators Tickets:
- Adult Single Day – $15
- Adult 3 Day Pass – $25
- 3 Day Pass for Military and Veterans – $10 (valid for all family members)
- Entry is free for children 12 years old and under when accompanied by an adult
Important Information: Registration and admission are online now. Please note that only older cars and trucks, specifically from 1989 and older, can join the event. Big vehicles that can take up more than one parking spot need 2 entries. The show is open to the public.

Run to the Sun Car Show Parking Details
For your convenience, Coast RTA will be operating city transit buses as a Shuttle Service, commencing at 7:30 am and wrapping up at 5:30 pm on the show days. These buses will embark from the Myrtle Beach Pelicans Stadium, centrally located at 1251 21st Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577, just a brief drive of fewer than 1.5 miles from the Run to the Sun Car Show.

For parking, there’s a modest $5 fee per vehicle for off-site parking. The heartwarming aspect is that 100% of these proceeds are gifted to support our cherished local charities. Do remember, trailers have no designated parking at the Pelican Stadium and any trailers found would be towed at the owner’s expense.
