Alcohol at Magic Kingdom: A History

Disneyphiles may be aware that since their inception, most Disney World Parks have been dry. In fact, Walt himself was somewhat adamant about creating an alcohol-free park. However, with the opening of EPCOT in 1982, country-specific drinks began to be served at the World Showcase.

In later years, subsequent parks (with the exception of Magic Kingdom and Disneyland) would continue to serve alcohol. Finally, in 2012, with the opening of Be Our Guest Restaurant, guests were able to purchase alcohol Magic Kingdom.

So, does Magic Kingdom sell alcohol? Yes, both beer and wine, plus specialty cocktails, can be found at the Magic Kingdom. It is important to remember that adult beverages can only be purchased by those 21 and over and from table service restaurants.

No alcohol can be ordered to go, and you cannot order any ‘off the menu’ spirit drinks.

Table Service Restaurants with Alcoholic Beverages

Thinking you may want to enjoy a glass of bubbly or a freshly made sangria during your Magic Kingdom visit? Since beer and alcohol are almost exclusively served at table service restaurants, you’ll need to plan ahead.

Wondering does the Magic Kingdom sell alcohol. If so, where can you get alcohol in Magic Kingdom? Most of these restaurants, such as Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table, are extremely popular and require an advance dining reservation (ADR).
