Holiday Inn & Suites Across From Universal Orlando offers complimentary WiFi throughout the property's public spaces as well as in guest rooms. A 24-hour business center with wireless printing, copying, and faxing is available. With a 24-hour fitness center, it is easy to relax and unwind while keeping your fitness routine in check. Other amenities include a Splash Zone Pool for kids and an outdoor pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas.

The hotel provides a free scheduled shuttle service to Universal Orlando Resort if you prefer the shuttle rather than the walk. Shuttle services and transportation to other Orlando area attractions are available for a fee and can be arranged at the hotel's concierge desk.

Dining is easy as TGI Fridays on-site is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A Kids' eat-free program for registered hotel guests is available. I would like to take a moment to commend Front Desk Supervisor Jovonne Sanders for her EXCEPTIONAL professionalism and outstanding customer service during my recent stay at the hotel. After expressing my discomfort with the humidity in my room, she immediately inquired about my concerns and promptly arranged a room change while ensuring I retained the king-size bed I had originally booked. Throughout our interaction, despite a growing line of guests waiting behind me and the constant ringing of the front desk phone, Jovonne remained calm, focused, and professional. She prioritized tasks efficiently, never making me feel rushed or interrupted, which made me feel truly respected as a guest. Her ability to handle a high-pressure situation with such composure and attentiveness was truly impressive. However, I do hope the hotel considers scheduling additional front desk staff during busy periods, as there were already guests waiting before I approached her. Exceptional service like this deserves recognition, and I sincerely appreciate Jovonne’s dedication and customer-focused approach. She is undoubtedly an asset to the team. Best regards, K

No hot water or no water at all for Multiple days of our trip. Ice cold showers for days for many guests. Hotel is now lying saying only one single day had water issues. Check everyones January reviews on their website where everyone cites days of issues with some peoples entire stays being affected.. hotel is clearly lying now. Very disappointing experience and conduct from the hotel. Had there been honesty and accountability I would have given it another chance and would never have left a negative review as issues do happen. The hotels response to the issues when contacted denying there had been any (despite admitting during the stay) however has been so shocking that I feel necessary to warn others against choosing this hotel. Many other lovely hotels to choose from.

We are giving it one star because the staff was nice. Upon arrival, our room smelled like a musty basement. The air conditioning unit turned itself off every few hours. There were no towel bars in the bathroom. All the fixtures in the bath were rusted. The carpet and lamp shades were very dirty. The safe and coffee maker did not work. Alerting the front desk got us a new coffee maker after over 24 hours. The refrigerator froze everything. The paid for Breakfast at the next-door Fridays was bare minimum, and the dishes and utensils were dirty. Parking was an additional $27 a day. I have stayed at roadside motels who were, cleaner, offered more and were fair priced. If we wanted to shuttle to Universal it was an addition $12 per person. Talk about nickel and diming. they are it. At The end, they took $33.00 off the bill for hotel tax, at the front desk and OUR CLOTHES SMELL LIKE MOLD

We had an OK time at this hotel. Overall it wasn’t the best as we had no hot water for several days. I spoke to the manager of this hotel and we were told we would be refunded the amenities fee. We were given a full refund of $342 whilst in Florida but when we returned home to the UK $126 was then deducted from our bank balance? Both me and my partner are furious at this matter as we don’t have spare money to be paying for things that we were told we don’t need to pay for. We will not be returning to this hotel.

Avoid By far the worst hotel we’ve stayed , thankfully only a couple of nights. Very outdated and in urgent need of refurbishments. The smell in the room was unbearable , a mixture of bleach and damp/mould After a 6 hours journey all we wanted was to take a shower, no towel in the room !! We rang, waited and waited …. In the end we had to fetch some ourselves No apologies whatsoever from unhelpful stall No facilities on site, breakfast is next door, grotty and sticky TGF Avoid !! isabelle, 2-night family trip
