We have stayed at other Hampton Inns and been quite pleased but not this one. The managers and front desk employees were amazing. They did say they had “modified” housekeeping which should be interpreted as nearly non- existent. The carpet in the room was sticky from who knows what. The roll in shower was not designed properly and watered the bathroom floor daily which we had to mop up and request more towels each day. When you stay for a week you need a place to hang your clothes. The closet was approximately 1 foot wide and contained the ironing board. There are no dressers for folding clothes. There are 3 wire bins. When I asked what to do with our clothes the hotel told me to place them on the counter next to the television. The food here was scarce and guests used the same utensils for all 3 hot selections even though utensils were provided for each. This caused eggs to be mixed with potatoes and meats. You are in danger if you have an allergy. One day they didn’t even have bread. We have stayed at other Hampton Inns since and when I asked another manager about the wire bins she responded appalled “ clothes are not fruit”. For the cost of this stay we were highly disappointed.

Best Hotel experience I've ever had, the Hotel room was very spacious. A hot breakfast buffet was included in my stay. Bethany the 2nd shift desk clerk went above and beyond with her reccomedations and suggestions. The Hotel itself is very very modern and impeccably clean with close proximity to all attractions. I'll definitely be coming back again. Thank you Hampton Inn/Hilton

This was the best hotel on my traveling vacation. I had an awesome view of some mountains and the pools behind which belonged to another hotel. A running creek down below was very nice and relaxing. I liked my room.. super roomy and clean. Some people mentioned a black (BIG) bear in the parking lot so I brought my car closer to the front as I was alone, didnt really want to meet the fury friend..? S I would have loved to seen it.. from a distance. No luck. This hotel on airport rd in Gatlinburg was clean, nice spot in walking distance with good legs + knees to get down to the action with shopping and food. IF not.. there is a trolley type that picks you up just up at the next hotel. Ask the front desk when you arrive. I wish the young man would have mentioned that to me — it was free.. as I didnt know and I paid $20 for a parking spot down below for 2 hours. The tram runs often. All friendly employees.

Perfect room in a not so crowded location. We had a lovely stay here. We did try the hot tub and it was lovely until 7 kids jumped in but that’s expected and didn’t mind a bit. Lovely view of the creek and right on the nature trail. We walked to downtown with ease and enjoyed being a bit removed from the drag.

I normally stay at Hilton affiliated hotels. So for our trip to Gatlinburg we narrowed down to Hampton Inn’s, downtown or historic nature trail. In the end opted for the nature trail one purely because it was slightly cheaper. We reached by car in the evening and got a room on the 6th floor. We had a back view of the mountains. Room was large with two queen beds. Reasonable sized bathroom and everything neat and clean. There was a coffee maker in the room and also an iron. Parking facility was good and we did not face any issue. Wifi was working fine during our stay. The hotel was quite central but of course not on the downtown strip. It was a 20 minute leisurely walk to the downtown. But keep in mind the return is slightly uphill. The hotel was pet friendly. Some improvements: 1. There is no safe in the room. So if you are used to one you will miss it. 2. The breakfast is simple. Basic scrambled eggs (or omelette on alternate days), potatoes, boiled egg (but somehow quality of boiled eggs was sub par and were difficult to unshell them). Cereals, some basic bread choices, yogurt and waffles. Juice, tea and coffee. So basically nice and simple but some addition of fresh fruit cuts could be better. (Although bananas and apples were available). Overall a nice place to stay with very easy access to the Roaring Fork Motor Trail. Also hotel is slightly away from downtown so chances of getting stuck in traffic are low.
