Excellent customer service! Carlos greeted us at our car and helped us with everything from unloading the truck to showing us to our room and getting everything unloaded there. Very helpful and courteous, don’t find that much anymore. Keep up the good work!

This was my first stay at a Doubletree. Overall disappointing and would not come back. Pros - Diamond at the front desk was warm and friendly, making check-in smooth and enjoyable Large patio area and pool area Gym was well equipped and clean Cons - the room was dated, old carpet inside. Door to room has been replaced but has gaps around, lots of light pollution coming in the room at night from the hallway. Bathroom dated, ceiling paint starting to bubble with moisture, the grab bar was shaky. The room fridge was very small held only a few bottles of water. The biggest thing for a hotel is a good nights sleep, this did not provide that. The mattress was used, lumpy and hard, with flat pillows. We had trouble sleeping each night and each day started by feeling sore. The air conditioning is dated and tired and did not do a great job at maintaining a comfortable temperature, it went from too hot to too cold.

Check in was an easy process, the staff was extremely friendly and personable. We were welcomed with hot fresh cookies and water. Our room was on one of the top floors, we had a nice view of the courtyard. For the brand, I expected more for the upkeep up the building. The rooms are a little dated, it’s time for an upgraded. The room was clean, linens clean, however the sheets in one of our beds had holes. Again, with the Hilton name - my expectations were high but the room was just decent. This hotel does charge for self parking or you have the option of valet. We had an issue during our stay but it was resolved quickly by management which we are 100% appreciative of. We loved the convenience to Universal and the shuttle buses that came with. Lots of places to choose to eat from. We enjoyed the pool as well.
