"Miss Gerese and Miss Gabby are rockstars!"

My husband is a diamond member with IHG. He travels the world and often spends more time in hotels than he does in our home. Unfortunately, we've had some mishaps with this Crown Plaza. However, Miss Gerese at the front desk, took it upon herself to solve an ongoing issue and make sure that we were taken care of completely. She saved our trip! Miss Gabby was also a huge help in assisting us once she was informed by Miss Gerese of the issues. We are grateful they were both working today.

"Not the same standard as Hilton Crowne Plaza in the UK"

Not sure where to start, from finding hair in our towels on daily basis to toiletries and cups not being replaced daily. The only staff that spoke English were at the reception, the reception staff were helpful but did looked puzzled when asked for cups and toiletries and clean towels. We had a day when room was not cleaned even though we have requested the room to be cleaned. Strong smell of pot smoking in corridors, lifts, outside the hotel, guests arguing all night and dogs barking. The parking smelled of urine and people used it as a dump site, we saw a TV being left in the parking as well as urine bottles. The only thing the hotel has going for is the location, it is 5 minutes away from Disney Springs and about 15 minutes away from outlet shopping centre. For British travellers this is rated as a 4 star Hilton Crowne Plaza, however it is nothing like the standard of Hilton Crowne Plaza in the UK.

"Not so happy"

The cleaning staff left our door open the whole day. It never got shut. The lobby was stark with no decorations. Our ada shower the water flowed and flooded our bathroom every day. We were in room 100. There was no microwave which is a big disadvantage for those traveling and wanting to heat up left overs. The restaurant was loud. It was all hours of the night. noise from there that we can hear it all the way to our room. They need to put doors on the restaurant. It’s terribly loud. I will not stay here again. It just doesn’t meet my expectations. Plus the cleaning crew threw out 35$ of gourmet macaroons. Plus they have no hot tub. The hall way carpets need shampooing and vacuuming more frequently.

"Not good if you want to sleep"

Refrigerator was broken, bed is hard. Very noisy people running around hallway at 10pm. Had to go out and ask them to stop. Pillows aren’t good either. Hall had crumbs from people eating snacks. They never vacuumed. We won’t be back. If you are going to allow large groups you should have extra staff to control the mess and noise.

This was my families second time staying at this property and it was amazing! Gerese was the true definition of customer service and hospitality. She made sure we were taken care of and was sure to ask about our day each day. It made for a wonderful experience! The location is also great for the Disney parks! We will definitely return!
