The front desk was above and beyond during check in process. Unfortunately everything went down from there. Checked in Monday 4/21/25 On the 22nd discovered after adjusting the temp on fridge is wasn’t cooling. Notified office, maintenance never responded. Food spoiled, Today still no response and to further the aggravation found live roach in kitchen , and yes I’m sure it’s a roach and saved it to confirm with office which I will be visiting tomorrow. This is a hard review to write. As far as location and amenities, this place is spot on. The pools are well maintained & open till 11pm which was great for a dip after a long day after the parks. The hot tub was hot! Mini golf and activities ongoing. The location for Disney and Universal was amazing and great to be able to walk to restaurants, takeaways, supermarket, garage with great food & pharmacy (also has a great range of food.) Lovely area and very relaxing location. Downside for us was the 2bedroom apartment we had. From seeing photos of other rooms on here I suspect we were given an older room that had definitely not been renovated recently. Block 15. The size of the apartment was brilliant with a well equipped kitchen, tv in all the rooms and a small balcony. However upon opening the door the smell of damp immediately hit us. The carpet in all the rooms was filthy and the dust gathering in the corners of the room, under the beds and other locations was bad. The shower was hanging off the wall and the first night, there was no hot water. It became apparent that it took a while for hot water to filter through to the showers. The air conditioning unit was ridiculously loud and kept us awake. Which reduced us to not using it on a night, which was not good in the heat that we had. Also a random light switch that we never figured out what it was for. This was all reported on the first evening but absolutely nothing was done about it. For the amount of time we’d be in the room we decided to remain but for the price paid we expected better. The rooms need a good deep clean or upgrade, or ours certainly did. The smell of cannabis throughout the resort was another concern as it was strong. Security do walk around regularly so I was very surprised that nothing was done about this. Not good when you wake up in the middle of the night to the smell of cannabis coming from another room. Especially when you have a child. The only other downside would be the reception. There are two reception areas. The main reception staff were appalling. One woman was rude to my mother and the lack of knowledge of the area was shocking. Easy questions could not be answered. There are no courtesy rooms but you can extend your room till 4pm for an extra fee. This was no good to us but they did allow us to leave our bags with them and use the pool facilities until we got collected in the evening which was good.

A very enjoyable holiday. Resort is very nice, pools lovely, grounds /landscaping too. A really lovely 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the pool - thank you to Vince & his team. Facilities /Maintenance were very prompt & proactive with regards 2 things we mentioned. Bed really comfy, lounge and kitchen a great size. Housekeeping good and really liked the touches to the towels etc & including the dishwasher powder, washing powder, washing up liquid & bathroom accessories to start us off & pool towels too. Made a lovely touch as quite stressful arrival as suitcase missing for 6 days. A very enjoyable break and would come back again. If any feedback, would be lovely to have a bar/pool drinks/ frozen cocktails to purchase on the complex. A very pleasant and enjoyable break. Close to supermarket, pharmacy (felt like I spent a lot of time there! 😂) & restaurants - enjoyed Chilli’s (twice) and Olive Garden.
