"Disappointed"

Our room was cold. I set the thermostat to a comfortable temperature and went to bed. I woke up often during the night still cold. I only figured out in the morning that the thermostat was not affecting the heating unit under the window which was turned off. In the morning, I figured out that I could turn that on manually. Too late, we were checking out. The shower diverter was poorly effective resulting in a limited flow through the shower. I let the front desk know about both of these things when we checked out. I advised them that they should have given us instructions about the heater when we checked in. They said we should have called when we had a problem. I told them that I set the thermostat and didn't know there was a problem, only figuring it out after a restless night. He said that there were too many different arrangements in different rooms to give instructions. I said that there should be a sign by the thermostat. He said there were too many rooms. I found these answers insulting. If you have too many rooms to manage, then you shouldn't charge people to stay in them. He didn't even respond to my issue with the shower (he could have said they would fix it immediately for the next guest). The hotel (aside from the lobby) is dark and dated. I would not ever stay here again. The response of your front desk person is horrible and reflects poorly on your brand. I thought Wyndham was upscale. Obviously not.

"Good hotel & great location"

The hotel was in a good location. Very close to a SEPTA stop. It was within walking distance to restaurants and National Park sites. Hotel was clean and room was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again should we need to visit the city in this area.

We received excellent customer service from Carol in the bar and restaurant. Please ask for her by name for great service. And my blackberry margarita was top tier! If you get the chance please come check this location out. You will not regret it.

"How bad could it be? keep reading.."

We had an unfortunate experience at this stay. The female staff (curly hair and glasses) at the front desk did not let us know during check in that there is a water issue and water would cut off as we arrive to our room. We were not made aware of this, and trying to settle and rest in the room, all of a sudden we cant even use the restroom or wash our face. Just as i was thinking how much worse a well known hotel stay could go, later on our first night, we woke up to loud noises in the middle of the night around 1-2am(!) is this a joke?? I called the front desk, they said there is nothing they can do about it - there is construction for the water issue, they are fixing the pipes. Sawing drilling as if it was right in the room. He offered to switch the room - in the middle of the night… as i m trying to rest after 12 hour drive. The next day we talked to the manager, he didnt seem to be phased by hearing our experience but refunded a day of our stay and parking. Overall the staff was not friendly, i am not sure if they did not like what we look like but i was not expecting to meet such behaviour by a well known hotel brand.

Don’t book here. You cannot talk to a human. We tried booking and all we could talk to were AI robots. You cannot change a reservation. All you get are AI robots that do nothing for you. We tried calling the hotel directly but you csnnot. Stay someplace else.
