"One of the Worst Hotels We’ve Ever Stayed In"

We walked into our room and immediately noticed a card telling us our room had been “cleaned by Olympia” with a QR code for leaving a tip. Normally, we’d be cool with that. However, it was pretty obvious that Olympia hadn’t actually cleaned the room. The floor was filthy, and when we pulled back the blankets, the sheets were covered in boogers (no joke) and blood stains. I tried calling down to the front desk for someone to fix the issue, but no one answered the phone… multiple times. I finally went down to the lobby and there was already another customer who had been waiting for quite some time at the front desk. Finally, after quite some time someone actually showed up. She put us in a different room so we had to pack everything back up and haul our stuff to a different room. That room had obviously been cleaned, but was still beyond gross. We killed several cockroaches that were inhabiting every part of the room. Disgusting! We’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and this was the first time we’d ever seen cockroaches in one. The ceiling was peeling away with chunks ready to fall down. The bathroom was very rundown and just didn’t look like it could even be cleaned. The whole room was just gross. Also, the air didn’t seem to work. It barely blew anything at all and the air it did blow out was warm, not cool. It was way too hot to sleep. I honestly don’t understand all the positive reviews for this place. We got up early and got out of there because it just wasn’t pleasant at all to be there. We’ve definitely put this on our “Do Not Book Again” list. Absolutely in the top 3 worst hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely do not recommend. -The PowerTrippers

"Comfortable stay all around"

Just stayed for the night on our way south. Very pleasant staff, great breakfast for a buffet, room & bed were very comfortable. Disappointed by the pool and hot tub not available out of season. Maybe you could add that to your amenities. Was looking for a good hot tub after being in the car all day.

"Overall a good place to stay"

Good: Location was great and included breakfast was amazing. Room was nice beds were cozy Not so good: Entire floor smelled like marijuana. Had a lady yelling in the hallway having an argument with someone. Not sure if this place is also used at long term rentals?

"Some nice features, but rooms need attention"

Spacious suite, although furnishings in suite are old and not particularly comfortable. Shower fixtures were loose in the wall, and shower curtain wouldn’t stay in place so water made a mess. Bedroom air conditioner/fan made all kinds of odd noises. I wish hotels would provide a variety of pillows instead of big fat ones. Nice touches like a free drink on arrival and a peanut butter bar in the evening. Lots of variety at breakfast.

This is my third time staying here and believe me my experience is always 5 star plus! From the moment you walk through their doors you feel so relaxed & comfortable. Wonderful staff! Rooms are nice & very clean. Great clean dog park. Great breakfast! Here’s a couple of examples of what impressed me: At 4:00 am I went to the lobby & poured myself a cup of coffee & started back to my room. A young woman by the name of Charity practically chased me down to ask me to wait 2 minutes so she could make me some fresh coffee! And even though I’m sure she had a million things to do to get ready for the 7:00 breakfast rush she took the time to indulge me in conversation. The young man (sorry I didn’t get his name) at the check in desk was so apologetic that our room wasn’t ready yet & he offered to call us when our rooms were ready. Unlike the woman at a different hotel that I stayed at the night before, he actually smiled & made me feel welcome & I thanked him for his refreshing welcome. After a stressful day of traveling on I 75, I needed that!
