Although there are currently no active eruptions in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and on Kilauea Volcano, active lava viewing conditions are subject to change at any moment. Therefore, lava sightings cannot be guaranteed.
The entire round-trip tour lasts about 11–12 hours. Traveling time is approximately 6 hours from Waikoloa resorts.

The tour operator will provide walking sticks, flashlights, daypacks, rain gear, bug repellant, and sunscreen.
