"Bad service, poor value"

The hotel itself is nice looking enough but nowhere near matched the value of the cost. Firstly I was charged for 4 nights of internet use and the first night it wasn't working at all. The rest of the days the internet speed was so poor I didn't even bother, and had to go offsite to get effective usage. When I spoke to the manager about this they refunded me for one night only. Very disappointing. When trying to reach reception from the room I was continually diverted from the operator, who was extremely curt and rude, to the front desk, where the phone rang and rang without anyone picking up. I ended up having to get out of bed and physically go down to the front desk where the one employee made no attempt to explain or help the situation. Furthermore, I was there for four nights and not once did a maid ever the room to make the bed out clean the room. When I brought this up with the management they informed me that the rooms are only attended to once every four days! Appalling. Not sure what I'm paying for other than a bed. It was explained to me that this is "the way it was now". Really poor. Save your money, or spend your $1500 somewhere where you'll get value for it. I would'nt recommend this hotel and will make sure to tell people why.

"Orleans is now sad, outdated, seedy, boring"

We have been loyal customers of the Orleans for years. We were there in April for the first time since 2018 and then recently we stayed on our way home from a 3 week road trip. We like that there is no fee for parking and that is still the case. We very much miss the buffet. When we were here in April, we had a negative experience at the cafe so probably won't eat there again. We do like the asian restaurant there and ate there both nights. Very good cashew chicken and sweet and sour chicken! The room: The price was right although more than it used to be. The room was not what I would call clean. The drain in the bathroom was stained nearly black from years of not being cared for properly. The shower curtain smelled. The whole room smelled musty, which was the case in April as well. Outdated and nearly seedy are the words that come to mind. They do seem to have finally fixed the horrible smell that used to emit from the drains. That was good. The casino: We really don't enjoy gambling here anymore. In the past, they always seemed to have at least some of the newer interesting slots but now it's like being in a midwestern riverboat casino with must a lot of older games, sometimes in new packages. We played some but had little luck. We ended up driving to the Wynn (where the first 3 hours of parking are free!) or Bellagio/Cosmopolitan where we had success and fun on some interesting slots. We'll have to decide if we are going to stay here again in the future or bite the bullet and just pay more to be on the strip. Such a shame, because as seniors we liked having a home base where one of us could go up to the room if we wanted while the other gambled. We don't care to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas necessarily but do like to stay in a hotel with a casino. This place needs a huge updating.

"This hotel should be a HARD PASS if youre thinking about staying here!"

This hotel is not worth the price you pay. Made a reservation for 8 days for a room with 2 beds. We get here and they tell us that the reservation was for a single bed and I would have to pay more which I reluctantly did. The resort fee is also astronomical so beware! Before you even get to your room the halls are dark and dingy. The rooms are extremely dated with ZERO usb outlets. The plugs in the walls are so worn that your chargers drop out of them. After our meeting offsite on our first day we come back to a room that has not been cleaned in any fashion. We call down to the front desk and they tell us the rooms are only cleaned once every 4 days. At that point I tried to get our money back and move to another location but they refused to do so....so we stick it out. We come back to our room after our day 2 meetings and the lights in the bathroom are out. So we call and they said they would have the engineer come up and replace them. No big deal we go grab some dinner. We come back 5 hours later and the light has not been touched. We call again....and they say that they will put in ANOTHER work order to have it fixed........OK! An engineer shows up 2 hours later to fix the lights.....and well.....Ill just let the pics speak for themselves! I dont think this is OSHA approved and his filthy feet on the counter that he never cleaned before he left. WE WILL NEVER EVER STAY HERE AGAIN AND WE HOPE THIS GOES VIRAL AS WE WILL BE POSTING IT ON EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM WE ARE ON!

We chose this resort because we have kids ages 13 and 9 and figured we would be able to have a low key day and go to the movies or go bowling, however, everything at this hotel is insanely expensive from the $8 beers that you can buy at the little store to the not so cheaper fast food options. Our first morning we woke up to a dripping noise from the ceiling to find out the toilet in the room above us had been running all night. They made my husband go down to the lobby for us to switch rooms. In our new room it sounded like someone was running an auger and when I called the front desk I was told they would call engineering like these things happen, the staff I'm sure was tired of complaint cals and it clearly showed. We went down to the hot tub on a windy colder day and the lifeguards were exceptionally rude and clearly didn't want to work. The hotel should save some money and put up a sign that says swim at your own risk in the freezing unheated 3.5 foot pool. The cigarette smoke is nauseating and soaked into the rooms and elevators. The bathrooms do not have fans but you can open the dirty little window located inside the shower. The experience would've been acceptable if the prices for food and drinks weren't so unreasonable for an outdated hotel so far from the strip.
