Had a great experience. Staff was friendly and ambiance was fantastic! And props to the head of security Cody M.- he runs a smooth operation and had a good vibe. The drinks were good and the staff was attentive. It’s a classic spot and worth your time!

"Worst hotel stay ever"

Atrocious customer service. Didn't stay the night. Took 2 hours to bring a new tv remote. Front Desk manager lied to me. "Engineering" department too inept and cowardly to do their job. Made a bellman do it. Can get better service at a Motel 6. Astonishingly overpriced.

"Past its prime"

The best attributes of this hotel is location and size of the rooms. The rest is "meh". The rooms are huge, so why they have small double beds is beyond me. The rooms could also be much cleaner, including the washroom. Lighting in the room is horrible, it didn't help when the light bulb on the lamp went out. The hotel does have a little character and uniqueness, but ultimately, it just feels dark and dull. The front desk are listless and not overly helpful. They spend a lot of time on the website writing about its character and history, but the staff don't really add to it or talk about it. The Bell staff are the exception, they were definitely the nicest and most helpful. Overall, if you need something of a short stay in a great location, this may work. Loews is another option nearby.

Amazing hotel with great history. I would recommend talking to Codym he was Amazing and showed us the room where the first Oscar's was held and showed us around and told us about the history. I really enjoyed the stories about Bugsy Seagal. I highly recommend this hotel even if it is just to enjoy the food.

Suggested this hotel by TripAdvisor and it seemed to be central to everything we wanted to see. It was perfect for us! Their concierge service was wonderful and it felt very safe being right in the middle of Hollywood. Great amenities as well! We Uber everywhere and pickups and drop offs were made so easy. Would stay here again!
