"Poor experience"

Claridge has always been our go to for our birthdays this year so far has not been a fun experience Front desk was not welcoming felt like we were a bother Went to goto the rooftop bar The Vue unable to access via elevator my husband is not able to walk stairs. Front desk could care less. I guess Ballys will take our money. Last time I will come here. So sad such a historical hotel but service is not good

"Not a very grand hotel "

From the time we checked in till checking out 2 days later we have seen maybe 4 staff. No one was readily available at the front when we needed something. First night we needed assistance from maintenance and was told no one was available. It took over 10 minutes for hot water to get hot enough for a shower. There were no towels available at the pool. The restaurants and coffee shop were never open. Ice machines were broken on the floor we stayed on and the floor above and below us. Very unhappy with our stay. It wasn't't a very happy 50th birthday party trip for my best friend.

"Absolutely horrible. Worst experience ever at a hotel"

This place should be condemned. The shower heads had mold all over them, the mattress looked like a murder scene with dried blood everywhere, the bathroom toilet ran all night long. There was sheet rock falling down in the hallway, the ice machine had sheet rock in it. And a lot more to say but not enough room to write it.

"DON'T GO TO THIS HOTEL"

I made reservations for my husband birthday December 27 thru 29th I was in room 1900 Jacuzzi room Luxury suites false advertising okay let me tell you the sink wanted stop running had to call maintenance for that then went to use the bathroom the sink water didn't go down then the water started go down ran out the pipe underneath the sink so I had to call maintenance again the guy came with a plunger 🪠 nasty to un stop it I worked for 4 minutes so my husband went to bath that same sink the water all over the floor we had to water till after 11pm the was changing shifts I was told from front desk I had to call 4 times then I needed to take a shower the glass door was broke couldn't close the door water everywhere so I call front desk again for maintenance the front desk lady said we knows about that so I was like why have us in this room she reply we know I was mad I also told her I didn't want this on my bill when I leave so she we have it down also the Sockets on all the lamps to plug up our phones didn't work NEVER AGIN I'LL TAKE MY 474$ ELSE WHERE NEVER AGIN THE PICTURES ARE NOT THE SAME ITS NOT CLEAN ALSO ALOT OF SPIDER WEBS WE PUT ON PLASTIC GLOVES WITH WIPS OMGOSH HOW NASTY DIRTY THIS PLACE IS FIRED HOUSEKEEPING SO MUCH DUST AND WEBS LOOK UP AT LIGHTS NEVER AGAIN I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE GIVING ME MY MONEY BACK WE WILL NEVER RETURN ALSO ELEVATORS WAS GETTING STUCK AND 2 WERE NOT WORKING THE ROOF TOP DINNER ELEVATORS WASNT WORK YOU HAVE TO TAKE STEPS FROM 20 TO 23 OMGOSH MY DAMM KNEES WE DIDNT EVEN EAT THERE MY KNEES WHERE KILLING ME THANK GOD THE ELEVATORS WAS WORKING TO BACK DOWN JUST AWFUL EXPERIENCES THERE NEVER AGAIN

Where do I start? The last time I was there it was the last century The carpeting, wallpaper and other decor are the same just in worse condition. The overnight parking fee of $25 is outrageous. The front desk was unfriendly and unhelpful. The hallway was dingy and dirty and the icemaker had dust all over it. The only saving grace was the fact we were the only people on the entire floor so it was very quiet. The price we paid of nearly $130 would have been better spent at a motel 6, 10 miles away. It’s sad to see this iconic property in such a dilapidated state. Stay away.
