"Perfect "

It was clean, quiet, well decorated, comfortable, and had lovely views. Close to the water with walking trails. The check-in was easy, and the concierge gave us coupons for a few restaurants in town. Close to town and to McKerricher State Park. We loved everything about it!

"Our favourite hotel on our 16 day road trip."

This was the best hotel on our 16 day road trip. The hotel is located right on the coast and it is very easy to find. There is ample free parking available. Our room was huge, extremely comfortable and very well appointed. We had a fabulous view of the coast from our balcony and we could hear the ocean waves from our room which was very relaxing. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

"Lovely location by the beach "

We stayed here for 1-night as part of a driving holiday around California. Fort Bragg was a nice stop and this hotel jumped out for the beachside location. The balcony and view did not disappoint and it was lovely to step out for a walk in the morning. The room itself was pleasant and clean, possibly in need of modernising, but we had a very comfortable stay. We would be more than happy to stay here again.

"Cutting corners"

On the plus side, a fairly new building in good condition. But several things were not as expected. The WiFi did not work, and Verizon cell service is poor at this location. The room had a coffee maker that did not work. The office is closed before 8am and no nearby restaurant, so had to jump in the car to get morning coffee. The room had a deep jetted tub but no separate shower, so had to climb into tub for a shower. Not a problem for the young and flexible, but hard for us old folks to avoid injury. The bed was quite soft so sore back in the morning. No guest laundry, so we had to load up the car and drive to the next hotel to wash our clothes. You can see the ocean in the distance but hear it only faintly at night.

"Great place to stay near/on the beach"

So I got the last room for my time period. Unfortunately it had a great view of the parking lot. Funny enough it was quiet and did not have any real distractions/noise from the other guests or their cars. Checkin was quick and easy. Room was easy to get into. Just realize you open one door to the building (I was looking for the room number), then open your actual room. Room was good. Location is great. You can walk right out to the paved beach path. Turn left to the walking bridge, right to keep going... Great views for sunset. Just don't forget to get food as the town closes up early. Would stay here again - but try to book ahead for the beach view rooms.
