Sunrise Ridge is nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, and just a few miles from Gatlinburg, Dollywood, and the national park itself. You can lose yourself in nature’s wonder from your balcony or one of the resort’s three swimming pools. At Sunrise Ridge, there are no bad seats from which to watch a sunrise or sunset, see the fog that gives the Smokies their name, and enjoy the colors.

Of course, a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a must. Enjoy camping, hiking, and rafting in the warmer months, skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and some of the most spectacular scenery found anywhere all year long. Live entertainment abounds, too, in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, where you can choose from a variety of shows, sip a bit of mountain moonshine, or visit the Hollywood Wax Museum.

Notice: At time of check-in, a valid government-issued photo identification is required and must match the guest name under which the reservation was made. A $200 security deposit is due at check-in, and must be made on a major credit card. Cash and Pre-paid debit cards are not accepted. This amount is pre-authorized and will be released back after check out. A $11 plus tax nightly resort fee plus tax is added to your stay and due upon arrival.

Pet Policy: Pets are not permitted. ADA-defined service animals are welcome.

Minimum age for check-in is 21. All fees mentioned are subject to change and applicable taxes.

"Perfect Getaway"

A beautiful property with a gorgeous mountain view. We could see the Dollywood fireworks from the balcony. Rooms were nice, beds were comfortable, including the sleeper sofa. Didn't like the barn-door style door on the jack & jill bathroom, but otherwise no complaints whatever. Would definitely stay here again.

It is secluded but 5 minutes from the Parkway. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We couldn't ask for a better experience.

"Pedestal units need major help."

The renovated building we stayed in before was very nice. We were told we would be in a one bedroom unit. Ended up in a two bedroom pedestal unit that’s outdated, hard mattress, drafty, limited TV channels, etc. We weren’t given any other options and were not told ahead of time about the change. Very disappointing. Makes us skeptical about returning and this was one of our favorite resorts.

The unit was very good regarding supplies, roominess, comfort and convenience. However, we did find some bugs in the unit. We managed to kill all the bugs that we found. Other than the bugs, the resort was a great place to stay. The location was very convenient for attending shows in Pigeon Forge, TN.

"Great place to stay in Pigeon Forge"

Overall, we had a great stay, with only one minor issue. We were in a unit that had been updated, so the room was great. The furniture was up to date. The fireplace was a great addition to the unit. The view of the mountains was BEAUTIFUL! There are plenty of outlets, including USB ports and plugs on the lamp bases in the living area and bedroom. That was a very nice addition. The drive up to the units was pretty steep, so I'm glad we didn't have to deal with snow on the road while we were there. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The only two minor things that kept me form giving a "5" rating were as follows; There is a garbage processing plant not too far down the road from the property. If the wind is blowing from that direction, you have a terrible garbage smell. We were there for a week and only had this happen to us twice. The only other "complaint" if you can call it that, is that there were no small throw pillows on the sofa, so we pulled some of the bed pillows in to use. Other than these minor issues, the stay was great and we will definitely stay here again!
