    This place is awful! We stayed for one night as we were passing through the area and all the hotels we wanted to stay in were fully booked. When you walk in, it looks nice, but that's it. I have stayed in many hotels, including some in third world countries, and this place was by far the worst place I stayed at. There are roaches, that is for sure! The person who responds to these posts claims they don't have them, but they do. They need to do something a bit more drastic to get rid of them. I get it's the south, hard to avoid them, but given how run down this "new" hotel is, I doubt they do anything at all. The elevator and hallways are like from a horror movie. The elevator wall is loose and sways back and forth as it goes up. Walls are paper thin and you can hear the person in the next room as if they are sitting next to you. If Kathy and Paris Hilton are looking for a new reality show, maybe they can start by staying in some of their run down hotels and look for ways to make improvements to them. To conclude, you're better off sleeping in your car than at this hotel.

    We had reservations and got there a little early. After looking at the surroundings got a very uneasy feeling. After going in to check in was informed we did not have any rooms available yet, you will have to come back. After just seeing the lobby and bathroom decided we would not risk staying the night. I can not for the life of me see how this falls under the Hilton name.

    There are much better choices to choose from. Unfortunately the weekend we chose to visit, hotels were either sold out or too pricey. We will not be staying here again. Be careful across the street!

    The hotel is newly renovated, the rooms are big and spacious, nicely decorated. Everything is clean, the staff is very friendly. It comes with free parking and breakfast. The breakfast runs only until 9 am, Even though it claims to be in the historic district, it is way to far to walk to downtown.

    They should raze this hotel and rebuild from scratch. Second worst Comfort Inn (Texarkana was the worst) We've ever stayed in. It took 3 room switches to find one that was minimally acceptable. All 3 rooms had electrical problems. At least in the 3rd room, the only light that didn't work was by the window. If anyone is even considering this hotel, I would suggest finding a homeless shelter, it would be more acceptable. All three rooms had stained floors, sofas and chairs. The ceiling sprinklers were "raw", no coverings. I'm sure they weren't even operable.
