This particular Sonesta is a relatively bare bones business traveller's hotel with a fairly good rate considering the Irvine location. We stayed for four nights. Disappointed that there are no microwaves in any of the rooms and when asked the front desk advised there were no microwaves in the hotel anywhere for guest convenience. Moreover, you get a bottle of water when you check in but have to pay for any bottles thereafter.

Whenever I visit a new hotel I can always tell how well my stay will be, by the first impression from the staff. My husband and I used spot hero and stayed here at the Sonesta hotel, and found how convienent and easy check in was. Andrew J the valet was very helpful, he welcomed us to the hotel with a big smile, took our information, and asisted us with our bags to our room. The entire staff was very pleasant and helpful as well. Our room was clean amd had a beatiful view of OC. I would say we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Sonesta hotel.

The Sonesta Hotel was nice and clean, though not particularly outstanding. However, Andrew, a valet attendant, made our stay memorable with his amazing attitude. He went above and beyond, helping us unload our bags and did it all with a genuine smile. The rest of the stay was also enjoyable—comfy rooms, attentive management, and a breakfast experience where the staff and chefs made us feel right at home.

The hotel staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and clean. As soon as you pull up you are greeted with a Valet Staff that is fast, friendly and extremely efficient. Their name is immediately given and directions are offered. Andrew was the first one I had encountered was was extremely friendly and helpful with my luggage and parking. David, Chris , Edgar and I believe Alfonso all introduced themselves during my stay. What a great part of the hotel. Best valet I have ever encountered at a hotel.
