"Stay in another hotel!"

The hotel itself was cold, very drafty. We had no hot water for 24 hours and all they managed to do was comp our resort fees. Our friends had cockroaches in their room and hotel staff did NOTHING. It was an extremely unpleasant stay and we will not be returning.

"Needs maintenance"

Overall the hotel needs a lot of maintenance. Only one elevator worked at any give time. The lobby and common areas had no heat. Many rooms had no hot water for a full day. Only one restaurant was open in the whole hotel but yet we were emailed for an offer at one of the closed ones.

"This Showboat was a flop"

Where to start…. One and only one positive, room was clean for the most part. Now the bad…. 1 wash cloth, 1 hand towel. No soap, nor shampoo in room. There was 1 bottle of conditioner in shower, 1 bottle of lotion on sink! Place reeked of marijuana. Bed had a crater! Ice machine did not work, was a sign said go to other floors, which many were crossed out. Decided to go to floor 20. Got on elevator, door closed, tried scanning my card did not work numerous times! Elevator went to 15th floor and stopped, door would not open, buttons would not work, including alarm button!! Finally it accepted floor one, and started to move again after like 5 minutes. I went down to desk to advise of elevator, and lack of hygiene items. Girl at the counter gave me shampoo, conditioner & lotion. When I said I need soap, she replied, I have none, but can give you more conditioner!! On my way back she called me to say she found some! Room was cold, heat not working properly. Room set at 70,72,74 at different times, no real difference. Soda in machine 2.60 per can tasted funny probably bc of a 11/24 expiration date🤷‍♂️ Not at all a good experience, but I guess a step or two above sleeping under the boardwalk!! Not a good show, nor can they Showboat on this one!!

"Don’t book it"

This place was a ghost town, everything was closed no workers in sight besides front desk. They had a bar in the front of the arcade but no bartender. Not many food options, had to hotel hop for options. No room service. We needed more towels they told me I had to order them on a third party website, very inconvenient. They charge $25 a night for parking which is horrible the ocean hotel is $20 when you leave. I was very confused on parking I thought I could pay when I leave but I came to my car and saw a violation for $78 when I expected to pay when I left. The rooms have questionable stains everywhere even on the walls, I had my toddler and infant with me. The bed sheets had stains on them. The hotel is freezing as if they don’t even have heat on when it’s 19 degrees outside. I paid a good amount for the room I had high expectations but was let down. I would just skip the frustration and go book a room at the ocean hotel instead. I have nothing bad to say about the water park. Also the elevators stink, and I walked into a elevator with piss all over. Definitely wasn’t dog piss, smelt like drunk man piss. Overall my experience wasn’t great and I wouldn’t stay here again.

"Staff and waterpark were great-- Room was undesireable"

We were there for a sports a birthday celebration. The front desk staff during check in was very friendly and helpful. In our room we only had condition - no shampoo, no lotion and NO SOAP! We requested soap and told there was no soap to be had which is probably an Atlantic City/county health standard violation, The bathroom door and shower handle- both fell off in my hand! There was alot of garabge under the bed and in the bathroom! Half of the aracade games were broken or not working- total waste of money!! The waterpark was fun though!
