Residence Inn by Marriott Sedona in Sedona, AZ

Residence inn is always our top choice whenever we have a family event. This Residence inn is located right off highway 89A, 3 miles to markets & restaurants which is away from crowds but also convenient to everything. Breakfast area was very busy in the morning during our stay , but late afternoon tea at the poolside was tranquility with picturesque views of the red rock mountains. We enjoyed our stay and will come back to this hotel in the near future.

Great location, lovely hotel with a friendly, helpful and enthusiastic team (from front desk to breakfast to housekeeping); we enjoyed our time here so much that we extended our vacation. Rooms are well designed with excellent bathrooms, breakfast was well put together and very enjoyable and the guest laundromat would make Daniel Day Lewis proud

Great place to stay for these reasons: 1) Service: Breakfast buffet wasn't the best we had but it was sufficient and nice to start the day. However, the service, particularly, the gentleman who makes sure everything is spotless, bussed all the plates, greets everyone with a smile and such energy every morning is to be called out. Really, the best service we ever had at any hotel. I'm sorry I didn't get his name, because he was literally dashing about. We left a big tip because they deserved it. With that said, service in general was spot on. 2) Location was great- shuttle stop is just across the street to trails. Minutes from downtown. 3) Clean- We had 3 rooms, all good, quiet and clean. Would stay again. 4) Gym- Also clean, and you can fill up your water bottles. We stayed 5 days during the Christmas season and would recommend.

The breakfast is the best I have ever had at a Hotel. Very delicious. Every morning we ate there, so good. The guy “Adam” was cleaning tables up was very quick and smooth as we watched him do his job. Very focused on what he had to get done. Also there are hiking trails right behind the hotel with amazing sunsets. Trails were clean and easy to walk. The hot tub and fire pit was an awesome experience. The bed also were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We were pleasantly surprised with how awesome this place was!! It’s in West Sedona so you’re a bit away from the hustle & bustle but right on the Red Rock scenic byway. Loved the location. Adam was INCREDIBLE setting up the breakfasts every morning, he bussed the tables so promptly, super friendly, kept things sanitary. Have to say this is the best variety of hot breakfast. It was the week between Xmas and New Year’s. They do a 3 day food rotation so you don’t have the same meals daily. I did notice on our last day, they had muffins in one of the hot plate spots in addition to all the carbs/bread on the other counter. Nicholas (concierge) was kind and helpful when he checked us in. Wouldn’t recommend paying extra for the patio room. First, you’re not around much to use it. Second, it’s WAY TOO SHORT! Pics cannot be uploaded due to limits but sliding chair into sliding glass door, you barely have room to sit in a chair. I am 5’6” and had to turn my chair diagonal. Upon arriving, the chairs are shoved up against the edge of the patio. Some lower level room balconies are faced with red landscape rock and have absolutely no view. Others have a view of a house. Hot tub felt nice but was quite small. Most evenings nobody was out there but once there were 11 people in it. They have a few nice sitting areas, often with propane fire pit or standing heaters. They have some artificial grass with corn hole game set up. Rooms were spacious & comfortable. Never understand why some hotel doors will make a loud closing sound when trying to gently & quietly close the door. We were by an exterior door so a couple nights we heard it several times through the night. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again. This property is owned by the same people as the Courtyard next door.
