I read some terrible reviews after I booked for two nights and it scared me. I want to set the record straight. This hotel is great! The rooms are nicely equipped and very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a tasty hot breakfast option for $8, which no one should be able to complain about. The continental breakfast offers toast, cereal, croissants, cookies and muffins as well s coffee and tea. Again no complaints. The nightly rates are more than reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room itself was spacious. However, my overall experience was overshadowed by a few significant drawbacks. The air conditioning unit was incredibly loud, to the point where it was difficult to get a proper night's sleep, even with the setting turned down. Additionally, the breakfast offered was underwhelming, consisting only of bread and a few spreadables. If you wanted something more substantial, such as eggs, bacon, or potatoes, you had to pay for it. For the price of the stay, I expected a more satisfying and inclusive breakfast. While the room had its positive aspects, the noise from the AC and the lackluster breakfast options significantly impacted my stay.

I stayed here due to a wedding, as we didn't want to drive back to Mississauga at 2am, so we booked and thought it would be a good stay. Nope, I woke up feeling itchy and thought it was just the detergent the sheets were washed in. Nope, 2 hours laters my body started showing welts appearing all over my arms, then abdomen (some pictures will be added). I wasn't sure what was happening so I went to my doctor, who told me they were bed bug bites. To take a antihistamine and gave me a cream. Now 12 hours laters the welts have tripled in number. I call the hotel to inform them, the MOD Sandy, brushed me off and told me to email the GM and he might get back to me on Monday. I called Hotel.com and they wouldn't help me and backed the hotel. This is absolutely disgusting customer service on both parties. Do not stay here, protect yourself and your family. I shudder to think what would have happened to my toddler if we had brought him. The breakfast is also a joke, the orange juice is 10% orange flavor and 90% water, there are little to no options, they get you go to so the restaurant can charge you $8/person to get some eggs or actual breakfast. The food in their separately owned restaurant was terrible. Many counter staff (6) yet know one would help us check in, only one guest at counter. TV wouldn’t work if you turned it off. Bar fridge was warm when arrived. Made 11 calls to reach hotel (lost and found issue), and was told their phones were not working ???? We paid $268 for one night. This was 2nd stay at M/C, the first was even worse.

This was actually quite a pleasant surprise, we were on a budget so I booked fully expecting a Travel Lodge type of hotel... turns out this hotel is a bit better than that and therefore great value for money! The hotel is nice, clean and offers free parking and a free continental buffet breakfast (with the option to upgrade for about $8). There was a very basic gym but it had enough for a workout. We only stayed one night whilst travelling through, the location is easy to find but it is kind of on the edge of an industrial estate so don't expect a room with a view!
