Marina del Rey Hotel in Marina del Rey, CA

We moved in when the Palisades fire started and ended up staying for three I/2 months. It was wonderful! Mo Nouhad, the manager made all of us evacuee’s feel so welcome. The front desk staff were cheerful, helpful and professional, especially Chloe, Tyler and Nancy. The valets became like extended family and were always welcoming : Dany, Jose, Santiago, Luis and Ali. The housekeeping staff were the best! One last thing, our room was so comfortable and cosy, looking out at the boats…we were sad to move out 🥲💖

Great stay - nice hotel, great location.... I was able to walk to venice beach / santa monica etc as I like to walk. Hotel staff were friendly, rooms were clean and the walk around the bay area was really relaxing. Hotel also has shops and restaurents close by.

Lovely hotel on the pier. Nice people, very friendly. Marlee at the desk was excellent. I suggest it if you want to rest and enjoy beautiful view and nice atmosphere.. Close to shopping center. Peaceful area. Very clean. Very good breakfast.

Very clean and beautiful hotel! We had a marina view room and its was just amazing! Walkable to many stores and restaurants! Bed super comfortable! I did not like the closet being in the bathroom but not such a big deal! We wished we could have stayed longer! Loved it!

The views are beautiful. You do not want to be pool side but rather the other side of the hotel if you can. LAX is close to the hotel, so if you like to sit on the balcony - the plane noise may bother you as it is constant. Also, with the pool and hot tub being right outside it can be a little noisy. The sea lions (or water puppies) as my son called them - are everywhere and like to talk a lot! That noise did not bother me at all! We enjoyed seeing them and seeing how they interact with the boats and people at the Marina. We arrived 2 hours early and our room was ready. This was a bonus because we were exhausted being on East Coast time! Our first room, the A/C didn’t work. They sent up maintenance in a couple minutes and because they could not resolve the issue, they moved us at 11 pm and even supplied a bellman and a cart right away. We did not eat at the restaurant at the hotel, not for lack of selection or the beautiful view, but we had other places we wanted to eat. Hi Ho Cheeburger is within walking distance 0.3 miles. They make in home banana cream pie and it is AMAZING! Our room was not serviced while we were there. They did deliver towels, additional lotion and extra coffee, tea, sugar and creamer as requested. We were only there 2 nights - so it wasn’t that much of a bother. The valets are fantastic and super nice! They remembered me the second day and spoke to me and my son for quite some time! If you are adventurous there are bikes on property you can rent for $8/hr. Proximity to the airport - cannot be beat unless you are in a hotel near the airport. Lyft took less than minutes and was happy to pick us up at 3:45 am. We were still there before the gate agents opened at 4 am. There is plenty to do within walking distance. The views are beautiful. The rugs are worn but the rooms are clean overall. The pool is heated and the hot tub is relaxing. I would recommend this location for anyone in the area looking for a place to stay with easy access to anything for the family.
